    • Pleasantly surprised by this low cost case

I bought this expecting very little. Based on its price and description I figured it was jut another iPhone-shaped piece of TPM. But for a cheap, slim case like this one, it seems quite sturdy. I've had a few drops since replacing my old case with this one and my phone (and screen protector) remain undamaged. I seem to get pretty good wireless charging performance out of it, although I usually just plug it into a USBC high speed PD charger which is more than twice as fast as any Qi on my model (12). It is grippy enough not to slide out of my hand like my old smooth backed Speck case loved to do, and the texturing on the back is subtler than it looked in some of the photos which I consider a good thing. It's enough to give it some grip and make it more visually interesting than a simple solid back design but doesn't look tacky/overly busy and doesn't make it get stuck sliding in and out of pockets. Don't expect miracles from a single layer TPM case, it certainly doesn't offer the drop protection of an Otterbox Defender or anything like that, but those are bulky and cost a lot more. If you're torn between this case and saving 2 or 3 bucks on some no-name TPM case, I think this one is worth the extra 2 or 3 bucks.     • Very nice case. Just one problem: I can't use a pop socket

This case is a perfect fit on the phone and made of the highest quality materials. The case looks very nice on the phone and feels nice in your hand. The material on the back is smooth so it's easy to slide into your pocket and it has textured grip on the sides to make it easy to hold the phone without dropping it. The case is very slim and light and only added a few millimeters to the overall size of the phone in all dimensions. It adds maybe 20% additional weight vs the phone with no case, so you do notice a weight difference but it is minor. The only downside of this case is that there is a big hole in the middle of the back where the Apple logo is on the iPhone. If you use a pop socket on your phone, your only option for placement is in the bottom third of the back of the phone. If you don't use a socket, that doesn't matter. If you do, consider a different design. I would still recommend spigen in either case. ... show more

An inexpensive case that has been protecting my phone for a couple months now. I like the raised rim around the screen, it offers a little protection if you drop it face down, granted what you drop it on isnt way unlevel. It is a stiff case that feels solid in hand, while not obstructing any of the phones features. Sheerness, lol, that one threw me for a loop. The sides of the case have a texture that promotes a better grip, but the back is a satin/matt finish (except for the very top around the camera lenses, and the very bottom) which softens the in hand experience, but lessens your grip if you are not holding your phone in a death clutch. Spigen makes an affordable Armor product for the iPhone 12 Pro, durable enough to use between pockets and countertops, but not confidence inspiring to take hiking or higher impact. Adding the Spigen tempered glass protector adds the mild to moderate activities confidence. The weak point of the Spigen Rugged Armor iPhone 12 Pro case is the thin piece of rubber plastic on the front side of the charging port. For my last 4 iPhones, I have had the rugged armor case from Spigen. This case is a consistently protective case. I have dropped my phone multiple times and obviously, I have the sudden worry that this drop is the one that cracked my screen. With the rugged armor case, I haven't had a break yet. This case provides a high level of protection and in my opinion, it also provides a professional look as well. If this is a look you like it should be a for sure buy. Spigen also offers many other good looking cases if you want great protection. It sounds like I am sponsored by the company but I am not. I’ve been using Spigen brand cases (phones and tablets) for 6 years now, and this case is no different. The build quality is slim, but sturdy, and the matte finish is durable and feels good in the hand. Gripping the case is quite easy, and each time my phone has taken a fall, the device comes out unscathed. I doubt it will survive high drops, but in terms of daily life situations, this case should serve you well. Love this case, very good price and super sharp looking. I came across the Spigen brand a few years ago the cases are so sturdy, keep your phone safe and unique. I look for Spigen every time I upgrade my phone. I also use them for my AirPods and AirPod pros. The cases for all my devises match and have the same feel and look.
