  • Just about what I was looking for
Color: Black
I wanted a physical cover/door to protect the camera lenses of my iPhone 14 Pro. I think this is the only case that features a physical sliding cover for the camera lenses like this and is also Magsafe-compatible. It works well. There is a place to grab the door with a fingernail to open it. I might have been better with a little textured/rubberized/grippy area on the door that I could quickly move with a finger - without using a fingernail. A kickstand would also be a nice addition - Lens cover door, Magsafe-compatible and a built-in kickstand are what I really wanted. Other than that not having a kickstand, it works well, most of the surface is a semi-grippy material, and it fits the phone well. ... show more

  • It could be better.
Color: Black
I purchased the Nillken, the Spigen Optik Armor, and the Tech21 Evo Max case, all with camera covers. Here are the differences: Camera cover: The Nillken has the best camera cover. It stays securely in either the open or closed position. The rubber-like material helps me get a good grip on it when opening or closing the case. I don't have to use my finger nail like I do with the Spigen. The camera protection does not protrude as bad as the Tech21. The Spigen also has a low profile camera cover, however the cover is slick metal and I need to dig my finger nail into the groove to get it to open. The Tech21 has a two-piece camera cover which is very easy to grip when opening or closing. The camera cover is a bit loose in the closed position and is very easy to accidentally open it. It does click securely into place in the open position however. The camera protection protrudes the most of all the cases and makes it feel a lot bulkier. MagSafe compatibility: The Nillken sticks to my MagSafe phone mount, but easily falls off if bumped. The Spigen sticks very well to my MagSafe phone mount and I don't think it will ever accidentlly fall off. The Tech21 sticks the hardest to my MagSafe phone mount and is the most secure. Probably great for extremely bumpy roads, or off-roading. I currently don't have a MagSafe charger to test wireless charging with these. Overall protection: The Nillken has pretty decent corner and back protection, however I wish it had a thicker bezel around the front of the phone to provide more screen protection. The rubber-like material provides decent grip reducing the likelihood of dropping the phone. The Spigen is about the same as the Nillken, however the front bezel seems to be even thinner than the Nillken, and provides the least amount of screen protection. The case is a little bit more slippery than the Nillken as well. The Tech21 seems to have the most all around protection being the thickest. The material is a harder plastic, but with a grippy texture, so it isn't slippery. The font bezel is the thickest of the three. The added holster provides even more protection if you decide to keep your phone in it. Other points: The Nillken is the case I decided to keep due to the great camera cover and it's low profile. It feels the best in my hand and fits easily in my pocket. The Nillken is also the cheapest. The Spigen is a little too slippery for my taste and the cover is difficult to operate. The Tech21 holster also doubles as a phone stand. The tinted-grey color I chose was made of semi-transparent plastic, and this allowed the flashlight to be used without opening the cover, however the light was dimmed slightly. This would have been my first choice if it wasn't for the fact that the camera cover opens way too easily by accident. It's not worth having a camera cover if you can't trust it to stay closed. Also, if you try to open the camera cover without looking, and the camera cover is already open, then you just rubbed your fingers over your lenses. I also think the price is way too high. I hope this helps someone deciding between the three. ... show more

  • Good protection for the camera lenses
Color: Black
If you take pictures with your iPhone 14 Pro you probably want to protect the protruding camera lenses from damage or smudges. This case does that well. It seems to be well-made and my impression is that the sliding camera cover will likely be durable. The phone installs easily and is pocketable. The case offers good protection and seems a reasonable compromise between the ultra-thin minimalist cases and the bulletproof but bulky type. The only "problem" I've encountered is that twice I've accidentally turned on my phone's flashlight but didn't realize it because the case covers the flashlight as well as the camera lenses. The first time this happened I actually had to check the battery usage in settings before I realized what was going on. Just be aware that if your phone seems warm this could be the cause. Overall, I recommend this case highly. ... show more

  • Great case
Color: Black
When I first purchased the case I was a little skeptical. It takes a little getting used to I forget to open the cover for the camera the first couple times. But the case is great, has a textured back and it is comfortable to hold. I have dropped it a couple times from about 4 ft and my phone has been fine and the case hasnโ€™t taken any damage yet. ... show more

  • Must have for these fancy cameras we have now!
Color: Black
Donโ€™t ruin the quality of your photos by putting on some cheap plastic or glass lens protector over the apple lenses.. get a case that does what they were mean to, protect without effecting performance! Love the feel of this and sleek black is always the best look! Satisfying slide, great protection. ... show more

  • Camera lens protection is what this case is all about.
Color: Black
This isn't the best "feeling" phone case. It's slim and sleek, so that's great. But it feels a bit rough around the edges. It is indeed sharply beveled rather than rounded, so this is probably as it is intended; but it loses a point from me for just not feeling quite as slick and "luxurious" as some of the other cases I've tried. Nevertheless, it's the case I'm using right now because no other case gives me as much confidence that the lenses on my iPhone 14 Pro are protected. The camera is the reason I bought this phone over the non-Pro model, so protecting the camera lenses is my priority on this new phone. And that's what this case does better than the rest. ... show more

  • So far so good!
Color: Black
If you are like me and were surprised at the increased protrusion on the back of the iPhone 14 pro, you're probably looking at this case. After several days of use, I have to say that I think this is a phenomenal value. the design is a little too utilitarian, but the polymer feels good and has a slight texture on the back which is nice. The slider aspect of the camera works very well, and slides easily, and seems as if it will hold up over the long term. I wish there was a little more positive click feedback when opening and closing, but I don't see this being an issue, and is just a matter of personal preference. The case fits very well, the edges don't bend like some others, and the buttons keep their tactile feedback though the external buttons. My only gripe on this is that the magsafe system doesn't seem to be as strong as it should be. I can't explain this or measure it, but it just feels that way. It does work though, and I can't knock a star for that. If you want to protect your camera from debris and smudges, this is the case for you! ... show more
