My initial impressions of this case are really positive. It's stylish, not too bulky, and definitely has a premium feel. The softer material in the back has a nice texture to it and the borders of the case are thin but provide ample drop protection. It's not tacky by any means, but has much better grip than the basic cases I've had in the past. My MagSafe charger locks strongly into place with this case and stays put even when shaken intensely. It's worth noting that the ring-shaped outline from the charger was vaguely visible on the back of the case within a couple uses. I think this is pretty much unavoidable with any strong magnetic charger, so it doesn't bother me personally. Even with the ring outline, this case is much better looking than comparable cases with the magnet sticker. Over all, I'm very happy with my purchase so far. I can't yet speak on the durability of the case, but based on the construction I expect it to hold up well. For $20 I view this product as a great deal and would recommend it to anyone looking for a premium MagSafe compatible case that isn't an eyesore. ... show more

I will be a Spigen customer forever.

I will forever choose Spigen for phone cases. They’re stylish, have a small form factor, and provide excellent protection. I drop my phone probably twice a day, and it still has no cracks after almost two years of use. These reasons are not why I will always choose Spigen. My phone fell out of my pocket while I was upside down on an amusement park ride, and fell probably 100 ft until it hit concrete. Miraculously, my phone is unharmed, but the highly durable material of the case got a big chunk taken out, which is to be expected. Overall, I highly recommend this case to anyone who wants a slim, stylish, and highly protective case that comes at a great price. ... show more

An excellent case if you hate fingerprints or stuck buttons

Whenever I get a new phone I'll tend to go through several cases while I try to find the right one. Clear cases are nice, but smudge like crazy. Rubberized cases are normally quite durable, but leave fingerprints like crazy. My otterbox didn't have fingerprint issues, but even the Commuter was pretty bulky, I just didn't like it. With the iPhone 12 I specifically hated fingerprints again because of the shiny metallic bezels. They look great if you just wiped off all the fingerprints, but as soon as you hold it again then it was back. Then finally, I got this Spigen case. If you've only used cheap cases, I don't quite now know how to explain it, but the buttons have more give than the cheaper cases' barely molded "buttons", and it has a really nice click to it. Extremely satisfying, almost tactile. They have a slight edge which makes it even easier to find the buttons by feel when you aren't looking. That isn't even a feature I knew that I wanted, but now it's fantastic. In addition, it's a really nice smooth, ever so slightly grippy matte texture. And, unlike some other cheap cases I've tried, using the phone for 5 minutes won't leave it splattered in fingerprints. It's exactly what I wanted in a minimal case. Light, a bit grippy, and enough of a bumper to help protect the screen and prevent the camera wobble you'd get if you had the phone laying on a flat surface without the case. I even like the logo. Usually I hate giant branding, but it's subtle enough that I'm actually okay with it. I would 100% recommend this case if you want something slick and don't mind the plain black. I do kind of wish it came in different colors, but I'm happy with it as it is, too. If I really, really wanted a colored case, I'd get the similar case without the magsafe compatibility. I'd rather sacrifice color choice for charging convenience, though, due to the amount of wireless chargers I have in my home/car/office. ... show more

Cool case, but could use stronger magnets

This case looks really cool and has a great feel to it. It almost feels slightly fabricy on the back in a good way as opposed to a pure plastic feel. It feels good to hold, it isn’t slippery and has good grip, and all the buttons push well. I have dropped the case several times and haven’t had any damage to my phone, so it seems fairly protective despite being a relatively thin phone case. The only issue I have with this case is the strength of the MagSafe magnets. The magnets are strong enough to allow the case to stick to the mount in my car with no problem, but I don’t feel comfortable connecting my MagSafe wallet to the case. The wallet falls off pretty easily and wouldn’t stay on when taking my phone in and out of my pocket. If you just use MagSafe for mounting your phone, or don’t care too much about the MagSafe feature, this case is fantastic, but if you are going to trust valuables like a wallet to stay on the case then you should look elsewhere. ... show more

If perfection was a case...

I recently bought this case for my iPhone 12 and I absolutely love it. I have a few other cases, AIMOSIO slim, Rhinoshield modular and Spigen Tough Armour. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I will speak a bit about those so you can understand why I love THIS case The AIMOSIO offers little to no drop protection, it will keep the back of your phone safe from scratches, it will fail a drop test though, as it has no front side raised lip. The only real advantage with this case is the ability to use Magsafe charging is not impeded by the case thickness. RhinoShield modular is tough! I used it as a bumper case a few times and at times with the glass back protections. You can use Magsafe with or without the back protection, but it does not form a good connection with the back protection on. This case will survive falls though, it is tough. Spigen Tough Armour is solid, it is strong AF and makes me feel like the phone is bullet proof. you cannot use Magsafe effectively with that one though. The kickstand is cool but i rarely use it tbh. I also find that, with how I hold my phone (pinky finger is normally beneath the charging port) the case rubs a bit on my skin and it is uncomfortable. Spigen Mag Armour has all of the relevant advantages of the cases I listed above and none of the disadvantages. 1. It protects the phone from drops and scratches 2. it has magnets on the back so it has full access to magsafe charging 3. it has a slim profile so it never feels bulky 4. my pinky finger does not get irritated by the cutout for the charge port. Solid case with excellent protection and great feel.

Cases like this may seem concerning at a $20 price point, especially with apple’s ridiculous OEM case pricing. This is a purchase I can confidently say you won’t regret, however. The case feels excellent in the hands, with substantial grip provided by different feeling material on the sides of the case. The side buttons maintain most of their pleasant feel, and the magsafe feature works extremely well in unison with that of the phone. The finish on the case is also very visually appearing, with alternating matte and glossy tones. Good case !!!

I love this case! I’ve always used spigen cases so I was happy when I saw they made a MagSafe compatible one. It fits perfect, the buttons are very clicky, and I love all the small design details they made. The case is also very grippy. The magnet isn’t as strong as the Apple MagSafe cases but it’s still good, not the worst. I use the MagSafe wallet from Apple a lot so that was a big concern of mine but it’s fine. Only thing is for my case for some reason I can see where the magnet is on the back, like the case came with an imprint on it already brand new, (you can see it in the picture) don’t know if it’s only mine but something to note.
