I’ve tried idk how cases at this point, but this one is worth it. It’s hard to find a case that feels good and has solid, strong MagSafe connection, but this Spigen case is up to the task. Also, i wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s scratchproof, but the back of it seems to be pretty darn resistant to incurring any damage. It’s also decently fingerprint resistant as well. I’ve had an iPhone 12 Pro Max for a few months now and originally bought a cheap clear case to see the blue phone color… but the clear case killed wireless charging and I eventually forgot or couldn’t tell that the case was blue vs black! Enter this Spigen MagSafe case. I bought it because I wanted wireless charging without having to take off my old case, to have a smaller phone mount option in my car and because it was not expensive. I literally just got it a few hours ago (love Amazon Prime!) and I was immediately blown away by the quality looks, feel and much better MagSafe capabilities. The only thing that might take this down from a five star phone case would be if the finish degrades too quickly. All in all, I’ve bought 3-5 different cases for each iPhone I’ve ever owned and this case is easily in the top 3 of them all. Top notch quality! ... show more

I have always had an issue where my cases just won’t magnetically stick to my car mounts well enough to support the weight of my Pro Max iPhone. I travel to all over and am often driving down bumpy roads, and need something that will hold well. Cases have either been protective but not attracted to magnets, or attracted to magnets but not sturdy enough. This case does both. It is thin yet protective. The MagSafe ring is great and locks into my dash mount very securely. The texture of the case is firm but soft, almost velvety to the touch. If it were any softer, I wouldn’t have liked it, but I got used to it. It also leaves enough screen exposure to work well with a tempered glass screen protector. When I installed it, it’s perfectly fit and easy to hold with a great magnets. But, after a while; it loses Ian’s I can feel the gap when I shake the phone; but it still strong and won’t slip off the phone.

I’m not sure what the other reviewer is one about fitting, I feel like they should get a replacement from Spigen. I just got my case and it fits better than my official leather case from Apple that’s been having issues this year (look it up, loose iPhone 12 leather case). It fits well, it’s good to hold in the hand and is not adding much bulk. There’s a camera lip and has magnets for MagSafe. Can’t complain. Solid product. I can however see the magnets imprint a little bit even though I haven’t even used the case yet with it. If someone from Spigen is reading this review, is that supposed to happen? Please arrange a replacement if not. ... show more

Typical sturdy, but slim, Spigen case for iPhones that is comfortable to hold with its concave wrap-around sides (that also provides a much better grip in the palm of your hand). It has raised edges around the front screen and rear camera lenses for protection when setting the phone on a flat surface. This case has a built-in magnetic ring that makes it easy to line up my MagSafe charger and charge my phone. This Spigen case is specifically designed to distribute shock force when dropped on a corner throughout the back of the case, lessening the chance of damage to the phone. My family has used Spigen cases for all of our iPhones (along with tempered glass screen protectors) for the past decade and never had them suffer any harm. ... show more

This case is very similar to Spigen's Liquid Armor lineup of cases, so I'll use it to compare in this review. - This case is made of the same polyurethane and has a similar feel. - This case is almost exactly the same size as the Liquid Armor case. It is at most only a millimeter thicker on the back. - This case has more rounded edges than the Liquid Armor case. - The sides of this case differ from Liquid Armor in that they do not have the grooves for grip, but the rubber itself isn't exactly smooth, so it almost gives even more of a grippy feel. - This case has magnets embedded within the case which make a slight bump on the back of the case. It's not enough to cause any more of a wiggle when tapping the phone on a flat surface, but the bump can be seen if you hold the back of the case up to a light source. - This case has the same notched power and volume buttons as the Liquid Armor cases, so if that isn't something you prefer, it isn't different on the MagArmor case. - The back of this case has a different texture than the Liquid Armor case (parallel lines vs perpendicular lines) which gives it less of a grippy feel on the back. Summary: All-in-all, This case is a very good alternative to the expensive official MagSafe cases and provides the same great protection as other similar Spigen cases. ... show more
