I had this case on my Pixel 7 and it worked great and I've dropped it more than a few times and this case has protected my phone during all drops. I got cheap and bought a cheap case for my Pixel 8 Pro thinking it wouldn't make too much of a difference. Boy was I wrong! The cheap case made my phone feel 25% bigger and way more bulky to carry around. I got so annoyed I had to come back to get this case for my P8P. I put it on and it made such a huge difference. I ended up spending more on 2 cases, when I couldn't just stuck with this one from the start. Highly recommend...from the texture, grip, size, protection...great on all. ... show more

I always read the negative reviews in Amazon before buying something, while also noting the % of them vs. 4's and 5's. This case certainly had a strong bias to the positive. But there were detractors, who said the case was flimsy, slippery or loose fitting. I found none of these problems. The case is for those who are comfortable with a minimal design. It doesn't expand the size of the device much beyond its original dimensions. Will it give you ultimate protection? I doubt it. However, it's got a useful lip around the screen that will protect the glass an inadvertent hard landing on a flat surface. And there is a similar lip around the camera portion on the rear. I do not ever fear damaging the phone when I put it down on either side because of this. As far as grip, some have complained that the case is somewhat slippery. Perhaps to others; I don't have any issue holding onto it. I'm not prone to dropping my phone, so those who are might look for the review of one closer to their behavior pattern. It is not a sticky material, IMHO, but it is not slippery either. One other thought that had me a bit concerned when I read the more negative reviews was those who said the ability to swipe back to the previous screen from the sides was compromised by the protective lip. I can't say what the people complaining about that were doing with regard to how they were swiping, but I have had literally zero issue along those lines. So, for a mere $15, if you aren't looking for a bullet proof case, but a slim one that offers a significant degree of protection without adding much bulk, you should be quite pleased with this product. ... show more

I should have known better... Ive used Spigen cases for all my phones and tablets for years and they have never disappointed. However, this year I wanted to check out some other options. I bought 5 other cases and all of them have no been returned. Spigen remains my favorite. It offers the perfect blend of minimalism, protection, & grip all at a reasonable price. They've also always held up over years of abuse. Some cases will have wear and rub marks over time that look gross. This has never happened to mine. Even with my work phone which has had a Spigen liquid case on it for over 5 years. It still looks almost new. This case combined with a glass screen protector will keep your phone in great shape without feeling bulky. It's really easy to slip on and off and the buttons feel clicky and tactile unlike others I've tried. ... show more

While this is an affordable case and it fits the phone well, it's lip on the edges catch on things and easily comes off the end of the phone. The charging port side is the most flimsy and cheap feeling. This case probably wont last me 6 months before I decide to get a more durable one. But it is lightweight, and protects the phone well enough. Keeps the camera section from hitting a counter top, and the bumper on the face of the phone keeps it off any surface as well. With a protector screen on it is just below the level of the case and that's great. ... show more

The case is slim but sturdy. The texture of the back side is perfect. Unlike the rubbery official google case which sucks to get into a pocket. Unlike a plastic Otterbox case that slides off of everything.     • I like the case, don't understand why people struggle with gestures.

First, to all the people who say it makes the gesture navigation (swipe from bottom and/or sides) unusable, how? You do catch the edge of the case, so the "feel" of the motion isn't as nice as the naked phone, but the gestures themselves work just fine. They worked with or without a tempered glass screen protector. Seriously, I don't understand how someone could say it is "unusable". Works fine. Case is slim, sleek and maintains the "happy" feeling one gets with a new piece of electronics. The naked phone is so crazy slick. I don't understand why phone manufactures are going this route. Sure, it looks nice, but it feels terrifying to hold. I had just broken my pixel 7 pro (loved that phone, first phone to ever break, sad face and wallet). The Pixel 8 is so slick I actually avoided picking it up (PTSD from breaking my last phone). This case has a nice texture to it, which hopefully will not pick up too much dirt. Time will tell on that. I actually prefer the raised edges that many complain about. My last phone only broke because I had a lower profile case that just barely exceeded the height of the glass (especially with a tempered glass protector). It happened to hit on the edge. Case indented a little and so the glass took the full impact. It is hard to say, but the slightly raised edges and more ridged plastic/rubber (my older case felt more like cardboard) might have saved my old phone. Arrived right on time, fits perfectly to the Pixel 8 Pro. I had Spigen on my old Samsung 10e and it protected it for the 5 years I had the phone. This looks to be just as strong. Good balance between protection and ergonomics - I can hold the larger Pixel 8 Pro without feeling like the case is making it a brick. Good balance between grippy enough to make it easy to hang onto the phone, but not so much that it sticks in your pocket. Perfect! ... show more
