I bought 5 cases for my new Pixel 7 to find the right one, and this was the keeper. Returned Case 1: I had the Spigen Tough Armor two phones ago, but now compared to the others it felt too bulky and I didn't like the volume buttons (something I remember from my previous phone with that case, as well). Returned Case 2: The Spigen Rugged was the same bulkiness and protection as this case, but without the helpful grippy texture on the back (both have the same grippy texture on the sides). The decision mostly came down to aesthetics between the two and I think this case easily won that comparison (especially since I thought the Rigged's fake carbon fiber strip on the back made it look cheap). Returned Case 3 & 4: Not Spigen cases and didn't have the air pockets in the corners, which concerned me. They were both more bulky than they should have been and the buttons weren't nearly as precision designed as the three Spigens, which was very annoying. In short, it was clear to me to stick with one of the Spigen options. This Case: Looks great, really like the patterns and color (blue on the black phone). The patterns help with grippiness so you drop the phone less often (I hate slippery phone cases). It's grippiness comes from the patterns, not the material (ie: not too rubbery), so it's still easy slide in and out of your pocket. The buttons feel and function better then any other phone case I've tried, and I really like that they protrude a bit so you can find them by feel, plus the power button has a distinct texture. Very low profile case, which is great, but concerned me a bit in terms of protection. I'm happy to report my phone is still intact after it's been dropped multiple times from various heights and landed in various orientations (including on the corners) on tile, hardwood, and concrete floors over the past 3 weeks of use. It's also survived my young kids handling it and carelessly tossing it around. I'm definitely not concerned about it's protection any more. It's thin, lightweight, durable, textured for good grip but not sticky, indented to protect the camera, unrestrictive to the buttons, and fits well. I've dropped my phone on hardwood and concrete a few times from maybe ~4 feet up, and there's been no damage. I think it could handle a little more, but I'm obviously not testing it. Only issue with it has been the thin bottom rubber above the charging port getting a bit loose over time, but really not a big issue. Good for everyday use. ... show more

Fits my pixel 7 like a glove! Has survived plenty of drops and tumbles without being any worse for wear. The texture is grippy enough to provide a good grip but low enough that it doesn't trap dirt and dust. Style is forgettable but not ugly and durability is excellent after surviving quite a while without any obvious signs of wear. Would definitely recommend! ... show more

While at home indoors and at the office, this is my go to case. I use to use the Tough Armor, but it is a tad thicker and doesn't look as nice. This one has saved my brand new Pixel 7 from a 4 foot drop onto tile and I got to say, it was a rough landing and I wasn't sure the phone was going be okay, but it was perfect. It is as slim of a case as I have found yet and still gives me the protection. I think the style is nice and the texture on the back and sides is excellent. Feels great and gives a good grip. My only complaint is the texture on the back is wearing down after only a month. It spends a lot of time in my jeans pocket. I will likely have to replace this case every 3-6 months from wear. But I like it so much that I will buy it again and again. That is a small price to pay to find a case that looks good, feels good, and has proven itself to protect my phone. I have bought many cases and spent a LOT of money and I have come to find out that Spigen is always a notch above the rest in every area. There always seems to be some sacrifice in cases, either they are to ugly, bulky, or don't offer modern technology for protection. Although Spigen could use more colors, they always seem to be about 95% of everything I want. I use the Spigen Liquid Air Indoors and at the Office, everyday carry. I use the Spigen Tough Armor for outdoor use, like work on my cars and shop etc. With the Tough Armor, although a bit bulky for me, I have confidence that in a really bad concrete drop there is nothing better. I wouldn't recommend the Liquid Air for harsh outdoor use, despite it saving my phone once.
