I only got a clear one b/c it was the first time I had a phone that *wasn't* black (it's green) and wanted to show it off. This one matches the exposed camera lens cutout nicely, is slimmer, and is easy to grip. I do worry that it doesn't offer as much protection as the Otterbox, but YOLO! ;) ... show more

Very dark, almost black. I was expecting a little lighter so that it was easier to find in a dark purse. However I am a fan of these cases and decided to keep it. The phone feels good in my hand and is not slippery. I do like it, just be aware it is close to black.
