I have used this case since Sept 20th when the iPhone 16 came out, and refused to make a review until about the 3 month mark. This case has been phenomenal. The amount of drops it has protected against, yet still retaining the beauty of the case is astonishing. The inside of the case is made of soft plastic and foam to help mitigate impacts. The only issue is that it is very difficult to remove without taking off the white bottom piece of the case. The package specifically states not to do this, however I feel my phone nearly starting to bend when taking it off without doing that. In a way, this is nice as there is no risk of the phone coming loose from the case during a fall, but not the most ideal if you tend to switch cases a lot. If you do tend to remove cases often, keep all of that in mind, especially the package advising not to separate the case pieces. I definitely could see the little tabs holding it in place breaking off due to repeated removal. ... show more

It’s very nice looking, I’ve been getting alot of compliments, something I have NEVER gotten over a phone case. However the downside is that it’s very slippery to hold, it feels like a bar of soap, I usually hold my phone one handed but now I use both hands. It isn’t as bulky as people say though. Yes it’s not as thin as a cheap clear thin case. But the purpose of this case is mainly to protect it and it does just that, even with a slight bulk. ... show more

    • Beautiful case but not perfect

This case is exactly what I had hoped and then some as far as looks are concerned. The design aesthetic is a slam dunk. It’s looks nice, it feels nice, the colors are vibrant. I have only had it for a day so I can’t speak to long term durability but it feels like a solid case. Visually this case beat out my expectations for sure and I love it on my phone. I saw some reviews saying the case was hard to get on, but I didn’t have any issue. You do have to slide off the removable bottom cap to expose the inner rubber lining that will give you the flexibility to apply the case and then the bottom cap slides right back on and pops into place. With that said. There are some issues. As mentioned by many people this case is slippery! It’s a hard plastic case and not TPU or silicone or anything on the outside of the case so it’s about as slippery as any other hard plastic case. That’s not something unique to this case, but still disappointing that the design could not be accomplished with a different material. I don’t think the translucent effect would work with something else so I won’t knock them for that choice. However, to mitigate that the case could have definitely used some type of texture on the sides for gripping while holding. Adding something to the back would likely interfere with the aesthetic of the classic iMac style so I can see why they didn’t do that. Also as mentioned by other people the camera button cutout is off center making the button cumbersome to use as it’s butted up to one side of the cut out. It would have been nice if they did the button pass through like on other cases like the otterbox ones sold by Apple. I have that style case and prefer that implementation over the cut out method personally. It may take some breaking in but the volume buttons are very stiff and hard to push often requiring me to stabilize the phone with one hand while pressing them with the other. This may loosen with usage, it’s still new. This case does add a little bulk to the phone, but I personally don’t mind that. The depth effect of the mock circuitry in the case created by the inner lining is worth the slight bump in size and for me it still feels good in my hand. ... show more

I was so excited to use this as it's a nice looking case (the back side anyway) with tons of nostalgia. Unfortunately, it feels incredibly cheap and has zero grip to it at all. I've almost dropped it several times and I'm pretty sure if I ever do drop it, the case will immediately break because it's made of flimsy plastic. The front side's bezel is also a really cheap looking silver which is so ugly that it's honestly distracting. You can even see seams in the paint. This is a $10 case at best and it's insane they're charging $30 (and apparently $60 on their website!). It saddens me to leave this review because I've used Spigen products in the past and been satisfied. In fact, their screen protectors are the only ones I'll use after my iPhone survived a nasty fall with one. You win some you lose some, I suppose. ... show more
