Prosecco is not as 'bubbly' as Champagne so it doesn't need a glass flute. I chill the glasses before pouring. I love these... I had bought a couple of more expensive coupe glasses to drink prosecco out of (rather than tall flutes) a few years ago and they are lovely, but a little hard to handle and very fragile. These are easier to drink out of since the sides are a bit taller and have a bit more of a lip - but still make you feel fancy and remind me of a Gatsby style glass. Less spilling! They are also very durable - of course they are fragile, but they are not as thin as my other glasses. VERY happy with this purchase, and will probably buy another set so we have enough matching for dinner parties. ... show more

I like very thin stems on my glassware, and was looking for coupe glasses that fit the bill. These are exactly what I was looking for, and all four arrived intact. The glass is paper-thin, so I felt a little nervous even while hand-washing them. If you plan to put the glasses in the dishwasher, I would expect some breakage, but if you are just looking for a beautiful delicate cocktail or dessert glass these are great. ... show more

Ignored the other reviews and bought two boxes of these glasses after seeing them in a restaurant. They are beautiful (when in one piece). The boxes of glasses were just thrown in a cardboard box twice too big and sent to me - obviously knocking around the entire shipment. 4 are broken.
