1. I don't understand people leaving negative reviews due to receiving broken glasses. Yes, these are glass stemware, they are somewhat fragile. Amazon tends to be stupid about packaging, it's not the glass' fault. Just report to Amazon and get your replacement. 2. I really enjoy these glasses, beer looks great in them and they fit a full 12oz serving, unless you are overzealous with the foam. Beer feels better when drinking out of a thin-walled glass with a well cut lip (no glass "bead" around the edge). 3. I'm a bit disappointed with consistency. The glasses appear ever so slightly off-center or imperfect. And slight seams can be felt around the base and stem. I have some Mikasa wine glasses, real crystal, not very fancy, but noticeably better quality. I expected a bit better for the money, but happy overall. These glasses are supposed to enhance IPA, stout, and other beers. They may, but what I like about them is their shape and the pleasure of drinking beer from a glass nicely shaped and rather delicately designed. sort of like drinking cognac from a snifter.

I just received the glasses, but they are what I expected based on the brand and descriptions provided. My biggest concern was that some of the glasses might be broken in shipping because they are very delicate. They arrived intact and I'm pleased.

UPDATE: Replacement glasses were delivered. They are all intact and in good condition. These are beautiful glasses with thin lips, perfect for appreciating the subtle qualities and flavors of craft beer. Five stars for the glasses themselves. Four stars total because of the poor packaging both by the company and by Amazon. I received these today via USPS. As soon as I picked up the box I knew they were broken. Indeed, four of the six were broken. One in a pile of glass shards. Two snapped off their stems. One cracked along the bottom. I've already processed an exchange and will try again because I know these to be good glasses. A good friend has them; I've drunk from them. But I'm deeply disappointed in how they were packaged and how they arrived on my doorstep. The shipping box wasn't damaged at all. I'll edit my review if the next set comes in unscathed. ... show more
