    • Beautiful Decanter - Most Durable Crystal

We discovered Spiegelau about 6 years ago. Their crystal is the most durable. Sure it is not hand blown, but their addition of platinum instead of lead makes the crystal super durable. Our wine glasses have fallen on tile, into the sink, etc and have never broken or chipped. We also wash them in the dishwasher on a regular basis and no etching has occurred in many years. We have moved numerous times with them and have always held up well. This Decanter is a Christmas gift. It is absolutely stunning in its simplicity. I was looking at a Schott decanter as well, but chose this one because of our experience with Spiegelau products and the classic nature of this decanter. It is hard to clean like most decanters are, but that is the only con. It is durable, beautiful and will last a life time. There are a lot of decanters out their from Reidel and others that are several hundred dollars and trendy, this one is a classic and will look great with that 2009 Borolo we will drink on my daughters 21st birthday. ... show more

These are good quality wine glasses. I prefer them to Riedel as they are not as brittle and can be washed in the dishwasher machine. Highly recommend.
