The instructions say to fill the top with air first then fill the bottom with either sand or water. If you do that you won't any room to fill the base for step 2. Instead fill the base first then fill the top with air. Also. Do Not fill the base with water because it will leak. The stopper is not water tight. I bet it leaks when being punched but I am positive it leaks while sitting still overnight proven by the puddle of water under it. Instead fill the base with play sand for an extra precaution you can put a long piece of packaging tape over the stopper to make sure it doesn't pop out. ... show more

I bought these for my grandsons and lasted a day before they were popped. I ended up paying a little more for a different set that looked sturdier. They are still working to this day.

I wish they still made these like the did when I was younger. They use to have sand in the bottom and when you hit them they would pop back up. Now they are just like a weirdly shaped beach ball.

These are not very durable. It was destroyed in less than two days. The water bottom didn’t distribute the water in a way that would allow it to bounce back up. It would stand until punched and the stay at a 45 degree angle. I expected more…Like the ones back in the day, but this just wasn’t it. I gave it three stars because it was fun while it we had it the two-ish days and it would make a great gift for a parent who wouldn’t mind this bopper popping after a couple of days and getting rid of it.
