    • Solid Starter Tent
We have been fairly happy with our tent. The shell is a bit tricky to get over the frame, but otherwise assembly is pretty straightforward. We did just have two connector pieces completely snap at their weld seam - but i contacted their customer support and replacement parts have been sent. The light seems like good quality - we have had success growing several plants with it so far. The fan is a little on the loud side and makes a weird high frequency humming noise when it’s on lower speeds - but it lives in our basement now so it no longer bothers us. Overall i think this is a solid investment for new growers like us! ... show more

These tents are great for novice growers like myself. It comes equipped with everything sans heat mats and grow trays. It was easy to assemble. I am a small female (5’0). It took a little wrangling, but all in all it was an easy process. A few things I would recommend if you are assembling this solo…watch the installation video. Hook up the carbon filter to the fan and then put both on the pole and hang it. The video shows putting the carbon filter on the pole, hanging it, and then hanging the fan. I struggled trying to get the fan tight enough to the pole to equal the horizontal height of the filter. Spider Farmer: I have a few suggestions. 1. I am dumb American and use Fahrenheit, not Celsius for temperature readings. Simple enough to convert, I know, but… Your tent is awesome. Your accessories are not so awesome. The thermometer is cheap at best and cannot be converted to Fahrenheit. 2. Your light timer also sucks. I bought a much better one for about $15. The price difference between cheap and actually functional would not have dissuaded me from purchasing your tent kit. 3. If your kit offered an add-on shelving unit with different lights to accommodate the shelves, I would be totally enamored. As it were, I am stuck trying to find a two tiered shelving unit that will fit inside my 2X4 tent. I would like to maximize grow space for my little seedlings. They really don’t need much headroom. Hope this helps. I bought one 2X4 tent, and then I bought another one because they are just so fun. Happy growing! ... show more

Purchased the kit and it sat in my Orders for 5 days "Order being processed/Order being prepared to ship" and around day 6 it shipped then made it to my house on day 7. All the pieces were there and they all worked. (So far) I can see people's concerns about the fan. It arrived all in one box that nobody would think is a complete grow tent so no worries about discreet shippin. Tents thicker than I thought and I had no problems setting it up by myself. Metal frame is sturdy ish, I'd recommend being sober when you click the frame together that took a few seconds to figure out completely. (Jk, I never recommend someone is sober) Will updat in a few weeks after a run of autoflowers.... Update: So far tent and light are great but I have updated the fan to a 6" AC Infinity t6 with the 67 controller. Zippers are holding up well. Update 2: Had a good run and harvest. Tent and light performed great. Flowers were surprisingly dense and got a end weight. Definitely recommend if you want to choose a kit. I've since moved on to a sf4000 and a 5x5. ... show more

I chose the kit from Spider Farmer even though there were zero reviews because I already own a light from Spider Farmer and have been pleased with it since I bought it. I reviewed multiple kits from various brands and the reviews were mixed. The item arrived well packed in discreet packaging and was easy to assemble although we had some difficulty with setting up the exhaust system and couldn’t find instructions for it. Tent setup is a two person job but is accomplished quickly. Still working on figuring out the exhaust system and how to set it up but that is easily explained by user error. Materials are sturdy with metal poles instead of pvc. Pleased so far. As other users have stated I have had problems with the fan and switch. I replaced the fan and switch approximately one month in. Spider Farm wanted me to send a video of my fan no longer working, I’m not in the mood to try and prove a negative. They worked with me to find a solution and that was appreciated.     • Handy kit but CHECK ALL ITEMS BEFORE ASSEMBLING
It's nice that you get everything you need in 1 kit. The instructions could be simplified so i suggest watching a video. The video we watched in their description didnt include a fan or shelf that comes with this kit and we didn't realize until our plants started suffering that we were missing the fan (and shelf) . When clicking "missing item" to reach out to the seller it says we have to send back the whole kit just to get the missing fan. Disappointing. TLDR: Make sure your fan is included when unpacking ... show more
