This is a quality grow tent system. The tent fabric is thick and durable with heavy duty stitching and no light bleed. It has a heavy duty zipper that should last a long time. There are plenty of access ports for different venting schemes and routing power cables in/out of the tent. The frame is solid also. I had a missing frame part that was sent to me after several emails with Jenny/Spider Farmer customer service. This missing part didn't prevent me from setting up the tent and I have to compliment and thank Jenny on her continued communication throughout the process. All of the electronic components are working correctly and my plants are loving the SF2000 LED grow light. I recommend installing a fan to blow across the top side of the LED panel/driver to supercharge the passive cooling. This should help ensure the longevity of the panel/driver. The temperature humidity controller is a nice upgrade over the standard manual fan speed control. The fan can be triggered to run at 10 different speeds via high/low temperature and/or high/low humidity setpoints. It can be run in manual mode also. The fan moves the air effectively and isn't abnormally loud at maximum speed. I saw many pictures/videos of people mounting a fan controller on the outside of their tent by poking holes though the tent for the cabling and using screws to attach the controller to a piece of wood backing inside of the tent. I didn't relish the idea of poking holes in my brand new tent so I mounted the controller to the outside with heavy duty Velcro tape and ran the fan control and temperature humidity sensor cables over the top of the tent into the back center top port. This arrangement is neat and the temperature humidity sensor cable is long enough to reach the floor of the tent. I have had the tent for two months now and everything functions correctly and I expect this to last a long time. I highly recommend this Spider Farmer 4x2 SF-2000 grow tent system. ... show more

Bought this about a year and a half ago. I love this product / package. It has just about everything you need for a successful indoor grow. I did not have any experience prior when it came to gardening. A friend turned my on to Spider Farmer and their packages like this and I was sold! I feel you can’t go better for the price they are asking for! The tent is pretty sturdy. I just wish the poles were a little bit stronger. The tent itself along with the reflective material, vent ports, is very very good! The light is great I’ve been getting excellent yields for my plants. The blower is pretty good, not bad again for the price and in which everything you are getting. I definitely would recommend this grow tent and setup to anyone looking into this sort of thing ... show more

These tents are great for novice growers like myself. It comes equipped with everything sans heat mats and grow trays. It was easy to assemble. I am a small female (5’0). It took a little wrangling, but all in all it was an easy process. A few things I would recommend if you are assembling this solo…watch the installation video. Hook up the carbon filter to the fan and then put both on the pole and hang it. The video shows putting the carbon filter on the pole, hanging it, and then hanging the fan. I struggled trying to get the fan tight enough to the pole to equal the horizontal height of the filter. Spider Farmer: I have a few suggestions. 1. I am dumb American and use Fahrenheit, not Celsius for temperature readings. Simple enough to convert, I know, but… Your tent is awesome. Your accessories are not so awesome. The thermometer is cheap at best and cannot be converted to Fahrenheit. 2. Your light timer also sucks. I bought a much better one for about $15. The price difference between cheap and actually functional would not have dissuaded me from purchasing your tent kit. 3. If your kit offered an add-on shelving unit with different lights to accommodate the shelves, I would be totally enamored. As it were, I am stuck trying to find a two tiered shelving unit that will fit inside my 2X4 tent. I would like to maximize grow space for my little seedlings. They really don’t need much headroom. Hope this helps. I bought one 2X4 tent, and then I bought another one because they are just so fun. Happy growing! ... show more

This kit is amazing worth every penny but beware that the ocilating fan and the corner clip/shelf did not come with my kit and Amazon wanted me to pack it all up and return it! I could not find the sellers contact info to try and get the fan and shelf. So I'm out $40 Dollars to buy a fan!

Love this setup so much! The ability to regulate my temps and lights is game changing. The flaps to view and vent are wonderful for this Ohio weather that can’t make up its mind.
