This tent was fairly easy for us to set up. The timer was slightly confusing to figure out and the fan was a little confusing to hang inside. But once we got it figured out it was smooth sailing! There is absolutely 0 light leakage. The fan was so quiet you couldn’t even tell it was on. We did have an issue with our fan. However, after reaching out to Spider Farmer’s customer service, they responded promptly, and are shipping us a new one. Spider farmer has ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ customer service. Once I sent them my information they got back to me within minutes. This is the perfect tent for apartment growing and a great bang for your buck. Absolutely love this set! I’m most impressed with the tent. It really makes it easier to grow things when the tent is well made and holds the heat and humidity in line with the equipment. 100 percent happy with this set. Highly recommend this to anyone want a cover- it- all set to start with.

    • Best Bang for the Bucks, IMO
What I liked: -easy to assemble (I’m a total novice and I had it up and running in less than an hour) - came with everything needed except seeds - fan is super quiet and comes with a switch that allows you to control the speed - kit comes with plenty of duct and extra clamps - light doesn’t produce excess heat. It isn’t dimmable but that doesn’t bother me much. The lack of dimming can be compensated by altering light height by a few inches give or take What I wish was better: - there are a few seams that seem to be leaking light. It’s not major and can be solved with minimal effort - mesh intake vents with a removable Velcro cover. I wish the covers were flaps instead of panels, as they make light leaks more likely but this can be remedied with some creativity - the plastic covering one of my zippers ripped within days of use. No heavy hand or rough handling but it simply split on me. It’s not major, just forces me to focus on where I place my fingers before unzipping. Overall, I think it’s a great buy. It’s beginner friendly, a perfect size for those short on space, and a complete kit. I recommend it. ... show more

This tent will hold about 5 - 5lb fabric pots. Best to get a couple pedastals to keep them up off the ground so they're not sitting in the running off water. That will cause mold or root rot to leave them in the water. Get a couple aluminum pans (they're like 1 dollar and last a while) for the run off, to sit under the pedastals. Overall, this set up is nice. Keep the light at the appropriate distance however or you will fry your plants. It's a very powerful, full spectrum light and it's best if you put your pots in all four corners while seedlings. That way they don't get burned up. ... show more

Shipping was quick. Fabric for tent seems thick and great quality. Things I didn’t like were some of the poles weren’t correct. They were the correct length but was packaged improperly so I had a few poles that didn’t have a tab to lock into other parts of the frame so I had to zip tie them together. The thermometer is absolutely horrible. Even with the guide it’s very difficult to program and reads incorrectly. I ended up purchasing a new one after a few days because it just wasn’t working. LED are good but have a night mode they don’t mention so lights never fully turn off just dim. For the price it’s a good starter setup but I’d recommend spending a little more and getting something different. ... show more
