    • Good beginner set up but you will want to upgrade to a charger that allows discharging for storage.
Charger didn't work . Vendor sent a replacement immediately.

Really nice battery and charger. I love that it's a gen 2 battery. It auto-discharges, so you don't damage the battery in storage with a full charge, and it no longer requires the battery to have a separate charging/ballast cable. It kind of takes care of itself. Works nicely with a lot of RC aircraft. I haven't used it much, but the two flying sessions I had with it were great. Long life and more power than I needed. Pretty standard equipment, everybody uses these, and they're obviously well built. No surprises there. Def recommend. ... show more

    • Save your money and buy the battery and charger seperate, this charger is junk
I bought this as it was what was recommended, by the manufacture of the plane I bought. Im keeping the battery and throwing the charger in the trash. I am using a laptop usb-c charger, so it should have no problem getting full power to charge. I put the battery on the charger at 2pm today it is now 7pm and it still is not done charging. I ordered another charger to take the place of this one, which is a higher output charger. Im going to with hold my thoughts on the batteries until I have a chance to use them. ... show more
