Its just clear acryllic with an extremely thin mirror layer. WINDEX WILL DESTROY THAT REFLECTIVE FILM. Using soap and water works decently to clean it. So be EXTREMELY delicate

When I received it, not sure if it was because it was in the mailbox but it had a couple of marks on it that took off the coating of the mirror. I like this product. I use it for privacy in my bedroom, so I can see out and others can’t see in. During the day, when I look outside, it’s like looking through sunglasses. To people outside, they just see a mirror. I should mention that when it’s dark outside, the glass pane is like a mirror in my room when the inside lights are on. When I turn the indoor lights out, I can see out a little bit, but kind of like wearing sunglasses at night. ... show more

This is actual one way glass. There are lots of the stick on films that claim to create one way glass or a two way mirror, but they fall very short. This is the real deal. Worked perfect for me.
