In shipping they were flattened so when opened up they were more of a triangle than a circle. Kind of a pain to get them on the pipes. Next time I will try putting them on one pipe and tighten the bolts to get them rounded out and then loosen them before trying to put the two pipes together

I have a 1995 jeep with a hole in the tail pipe. I tried "exhaust tape" and JBL Extreme Heat with no success. I went to this option and it has worked well. I put the exhaust tape on the pipe 1st and then this over the top. The hole being covered is the size of a quarter. So far, it has worked well.

These clamps came factory on an Audi S4 that I have. One had failed on my original exhaust so I called the dealer and they wanted $60 each. I found these for $20 for both, so I will be replacing the other as well!!! I have yet to install them, but I did inspect them. The sleeves are stainless, the bolts and nuts are steel, and the inserts are aluminum. With all of the dissimilar metals, galvanic action will occcur, in turn causing the clamps or hardware to break-down or corrode quickly. So make sure a Nickel Anti-seize is used during the installation process to help prevent this from happening. Thanks and I will reply extend my review once they are installed. (3/27/22) ... show more
