  • My new favorite.
Color: Black/Silver Mirrored
I was very surprised if this goggle. I've used swedish, vanquishers, cobras and tracers but this beats them all. They're comfortable and very hydrodynamic. The vision is very good too. *1 Month Later* Goggles still going well. They're a bit scratched (I'm a bit messy). The anti-fog is great, the insides have touched my fingers and water and the anti-fog stays in tact. *4 months later* Goggles have become a bit more scratched but that's my fault. The anti-fog has just started to wear off but still functions well. The strap is still intact. ... show more

  • Terrible quality!!
Color: Vapor Mirrored
DO NOT BUY!! If you are looking to buy swim goggles, it's best to buy the Speedo Vanquisher goggles. Here are a list of reasons of why you should not buy these: 1. I have only been using these Speed Socket goggles for 1 month, and the strap is already tearing. 2. When you first buy the goggles, it takes a week or so for the silicone part of the goggles to adjust to your face and stop leaking. 3. EVERY SINGLE TIME I dive off the blocks, the strap falls all the way down to the bottom of my head, if not, the goggles fall off completely! 4. Because the goggles don't stay on very well, I have to tighten the strap A LOT(but it still ends up falling off) 5. The goggles easily leave behind painful red marks around your eyes! I'm disappointed with my purchase. Usually I can rely on Speedo to have good quality, long lasting products. ... show more

  • Tighter fit in the eye sockets, means less leakage on longer swims.
Color: Vapor Mirrored
These are my sons competition goggles. He says they leak less the. His vanquishers when he’s doing a 400. But he prefers his vanquishers for practice, shorter sprints and for backstroke. He says they fit into the eye sockets a little more so they leak less on the multiple turns he has to do for the longer swims. We have at least two dozen pairs of goggles and we always make sure to have two pairs of these for a meet. I do think you have to have a specific kind of eye shape/bridge for these to fit really well. So I suggest taking a pair for a spin before investing in multiples. ... show more

  • Not for people with high nose bridges
Color: Dazzling Blue Mirrored
I really wanted to like these - I’m not a competitive swimmer but I go to the pool with he family often and we play a lot of dive and retrieve games. I lost my last pair of Walmart Speedo’s so I wanted to get a nicer set with peripheral vision that would fog up less and be more comfortable. These do all but one of those things. Peripheral vision, clarity and anti-fog are great. They look great too, but I could not get them to feel comfortable. I tried the two larger nose pieces, but the holders that hold the nose of the goggles onto the eye cups dig into the bridge of my nose. I don’t have a huge nose, but my bridge is higher - not a Brad Pitt nose, more like Jude Law....definitely not Owen Wilson. Anyway, I couldn’t wear them more than 45 minutes without pain. My eyes are set in a little bit so I have no problem with lashes or lids rubbing. I gave them to my 14 year old and he loves them. I’ll have to look for another brand or model I suppose. ... show more

  • Good strong suction, good viewing angle and reflective surface a good bonus
Color: Black/Silver Mirrored
Lost my good ol nike goggles I've been using for 10 years after moving house. Needed something for my occasional lane swimming now that the pools are open. These things are a tight fit if you have even average eye size. The suction is incredibly strong, so if that's not your thing, I wouldn't recommend these. They are however, crystal clear out of the box, came with two additional bridge sizers, and the reflective outer surface kept the glare out. Overall a solid pair of goggles. If they could only make the cups slightly bigger they would be perfect. ... show more

  • Most uncomfortable goggles Ive ever owned
Color: Vapor Mirrored
The SPEEDO Speed Socket 2.0 is honestly the most uncomfortable swim goggle I have ever tried. Regardless of which nose bridge attachment I used, the goggles did not sit comfortably in my eye socket, in fact they were very painful on the side of my nose, and, regardless of the many attempts to reposition, it never felt right. And, the white gasket is very hard, thin, not very soft, and does not sit flat near the nose/eye area. I do not have abnormally big features, but regardless, I had my wife (with petite features) try them on and she felt the same exact discomfort. These goggles were incredibly disappointing considering the positive reviews I read on Amazon, which makes me now wonder who exactly is writing those reviews. Obviously I do not suggest these goggles at all, and SPEEDO needs to go back to the drawing boards bc their product just seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper made. ... show more

  • The best so far...!
Color: Vapor Mirrored
I bought these for my son, he previously wore the Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 for his swim meets, but they would occasionally come off or slip when he would dive. He said that the Speed Sockets were “a million times better” and increased his vision enough that he wasn’t turning to look at his competitors! 5/5! ... show more

  • Best goggles you can buy!
Color: Black/Silver Mirrored
If they’re good enough for Michael Phelps, they’re good enough for my amateur self! Haha Seriously though. I’ve been swimming for a few years now. I’m a runner by nature but got into swimming when I started doing Ironmans. I’ve been though 10-15 sets of goggles now and these are hands down better than anything I’ve used so far. Fit: It does fit closer to the eye socket vs wider fit. I wasn’t sure I’d like it at first but after a few laps you don’t feel them at all. No leaks, no awkward suction ring at the end. Fog: No fogging at all. Just follow basic wear guidance. Wet them down before swimming. Don’t touch the insides and rinse them with fresh water after you’re done. View: I do like the wider panoramic view you get. You can easily see other swimmers using just your peripherals. Cost: I was absolutely shocked by the cost to quality of these goggles. I spent $50 on a pair hoping coat meant quality but these are half the price and twice the quality. I absolutely recommend them! ... show more
