  • Grandpa jeans
Size: 34W x 32L Color: Banjo Blue
Thought these newer styles from wrangler might be a more modern fit, nope. If you're a fan of how your grandpas jeans fit you, you'll love these. Tight in the waiste, saggy in the butt and wide in the thighs and knees, wear these out for a shuffle board game and you'll have to beat old Agnes off with your cane. They seemed well made. ... show more

  • This is how Wranglers are meant to fit.
Size: 34W x 32L Color: River Wash
Way back pre-1980, Wrangler jeans came in 3 fits: "Slim", "Regular", and "Husky". But as fashions evolved, "Slim" disappeared and "Husky" was replaced by "Relaxed Fit", so aging Boomers with middle-age spread could pretend they still could "still fit in the size I wore in high school". But those of us who preferred a more form-fitting cut were out of luck. I've spent decades being annoyed by the bagginess of so-called "Regular Fit" jeans. Then, while browsing online I stumbled upon listings for Wrangler "Retro Slim Fit" jeans. Could it really be true? They were a bit pricier than the "Regular Fit", but I took the chance and ordered a pair. When they arrived and I tried them on, I'm not exaggerating when I say I was never happier with any clothing purchase I've ever made! They fit exactly as I was hoping they would. No excess fabric bunching up under my seat and thighs when I sit, but still plenty of freedom of movement. The waistband is noticeably lower than the "regular", but rides in a more natural comfortable position. Comparative measurement to the "regular" shows the "slim" to be 2 inches shorter in zipper length, measured from base to waist button. Now that I've found these, I'm never buying any other cut of jeans EVER! 1 Year Later UPDATE: I've now had 5 pairs of these for a little over a year now, and have experienced none of the quality problems other reviewers claim to have experienced. Though I have had low quality experiences with the so-called "Regular Fit" Wranglers, which are made from fabric noticibly thinner and lighter weight than the "Retro-Slim" series. The 5th pocket on "Regular Fit" is so narrow as to be virtually unusable. Also not a problem with the heavier weight better-fitted "Retro" line. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY
Size: 35W x 36L Color: Greeley
In just 4 days of light work, the back pocket stitching starting ripping and just getting in and out of my truck in 10 hours the rip was this big (shown in pictures). These have to be some sort of mock up wrangler or wrangler quality has gone down hill. Either way i wasted my money on these and I’m not happy. ... show more

  • What Is Slim?
Size: 31W x 38L Color: Layton
What do they consider slim these days? I'm 6'1" and fit, these jeans are so baggy I feel like I should be in a rap video when I wear them. I purchased my normal size of 31x38, but feel like I'm in a pair of 33's. Since I'm tired of sending things back to Amazon, I'll keep them to work in the garage, but would never wear them out of the house. ... show more

  • Three pairs prove Poor quality, but great fit. Won’t buy again.
Size: 34W x 34L Color: River Wash
I love the fit of these Wrangler Retro jeans. I bought two pair a couple years ago and they move well when I’m active and ride well in the saddle. I know they are not work jeans and I did not ride in them very long and not more than a couple times. However, both pairs fell apart quickly. The belt loops on one pair tore from the waist without any tugging. I swore I’d never buy them again. After a year I came across a pair that were darker than my previous ones and seemed a bit more sturdy. The figured this was due to the lack of prewashing. I bought a pair on Amazon. They fit well as before and did seem to have improved strength. I am sad to say they still are of poor quality. A belt loop tore from the waist after just a few wears and a pocket had a small tear at one of the brass tack points after just the second wash. In short- these are gray fitting poor quality jeans. ... show more

  • Great fit
Size: 33W x 32L Color: Bearcreek
These pants fit perfectly. The denim is thick and has some spandex for some give. Most of my wrangler retro jeans are 100% so they don't have any give. These have some give. Medium rise, thigh is slim but not tight, calf is also slim and flares out enough to accommodate 13" shaft boots. Wash is incredible and rivets in the critical area. Honestly Wrangler is the only company making jeans the old way, for what theyre intended. And they are consistent. Im glad I switched from Levis. ... show more

  • Not the same as traditional cowboy cut wranglers
Size: 32W x 32L Color: Bearcreek
I had been a wrangler wearer for a couple of decades and now getting back to my roots and though these jeans have the quality that wranglers are famous for, the fit isn't at all slim. I'm a thin guy and slim is a good fit on me and these are loose on me. The leg opening and the way they cover my boots are not what I'm acustom to, much closer to a bell bottom. Back in the day wranglers fit just over my boots leaving plenty of room for my spurs. Yes, I grew up a real cowboy. These are not the same as the traditional cowboy cut wranglers. If I knew that I wouldn't have spent the money. However, they are a high quality jean and I will wear them, just not as I would with my cowboy cut. ... show more

  • Same name different animal
Size: 36W x 34L Color: Worn in
True to size with flex to eat more. These are spandex fabric and very unlike old school fit, feel and wear. Like karate? You can touch the ceiling in these and squat and never show plumbers crack. The only familiar look to these (jeans) is the 'W' stitching on the pockets and the wrangler tab. However, I have come to enjoy and appreciate the flex. These are unrestrictive in every aspect from cuff to waist. You can (literally) grab them anywhere and pull 2" out. I actually wear a belt with them. The button at waist even pulls for easier hooking. But be warned, when going to bathroom, these will slid off to your ankles when unzipped....effortlessly. I like them.👍👍 ... show more
