Works just as you would want. only thing i could say i dont like is the splash tray sometimes does dribble if i let it get too full or dont clean the join area well enough when cleaning out. Still wheel is wonderful quiet and powerful. throwns hundreds of pots on it and still just like new. Just remember to clean it out very well when you do and that will prevent the dribbles.

Not sure who to take this up with but when i initially step on the pedal it makes a terrible screeching sound. Thought it just had to be broken in but have had it and used it for about three weeks now and it still does it. It’s very annoying. Other than that the wheel is steady, the other complaint is that the screw and wing nut it came with are too short and come loose often. Makes for the bats to wobble. So frustrating because it alters my work. Not sure what to do at this point.

I love my new wheel! It's quiet, and speeds vary from very slow to fast. Very easy to clean because the pan snaps off into two pieces. Also, excellent pricing.

I had to return this item, Amazon will be replacing it. This item is heavy, which is a good thing for a pottery wheel however an awful thing for the delivery person. It was apparent from the state of the box it had been dropped. Im not surprised because it is a large square box that would be difficult for a single person to lift and carry. Once I set the wheel up I noticed one leg was cracked and slanted. I don't think the manufacturer packages this item well, this is probably as much their issue as Amazon's.

This has been a great wheel . I was worried that being one of the more affordable options I would regret it, and it has been very sturdy. Smooth wheel speeds. I've thrown some 5lbs lumps with no issue. It is easy to find batts that fit this model. The trey around it works great. Overall I'm very happy. I do with the legs were a little taller.
