I love that I don't have to try to figure out what colors blend together. They look beautiful. But I have had them less than a month and barely used and one of the markers is 2/3 dry. Very disappointed with that.

These are good. However, there is a stark contrast between the light shade and the medium and dark shade... almost appearing like different colors. Also, the light shades are not light at all. Still, a good product

Pros: *got these on sale, which made them more affordable than they typically are *small tips are sturdy and great for detailed coloring pages or stamped images *great for blending as the colors are already picked out and located all in one marker. * coloring is so easy and mindless with these, and the blends are beautiful and easy to obtain *tons of colors with a small foot print. Great for travel or a quick coloring session. *caps snap on tightly, yet are easy to put on and take off *there's a free YouTube class online, which is a great help on techniques *tips seem firm and sturdy *great color selection with warm & cool Greys and fLesh tones *feels great in the hand and is big fun to color with. *colors are vivid *barrels are marked light, medium and dark. It's just so easy. *Spectrum noir/ Crafter's Companion is a high quality, innovative brand from the UK Cons: *ink pads inside the barrel are smaller than they'd be if each pen had only one color. It means they'll dry out quicker. *some of the shades are a little close, making it hard to get your values in. But if the shades were too far apart, they'd be too hard to blend. *brush tips are easier to blend than these bullet tips. With that being said, these small bullet nibs are better for smaller images and still blend well *might be hard to find a storage bag to fit as these are much longer than avg alcohol markers. But the box it comes in could be used for storage. * no blender pen or black (no black is a positive for me tho) *unsure on the ease and cost of refilling these, altho it's possible. Just YouTube it. *the Frugal Crafter on YouTube reviewed these along with the brush tip tri blends and notice quite a bit if difference between colors across the different Spectrum noir alcohol marker product line even tho they were marked with the same number and color name. Another words the Classic, Illustrator, tri blends, trib blends brush tipswere all different colors even tho they were marked the same color and number. It means any refill bottles purchased might not be the exact right color. Strange. Overall: These are so much fun and easy to use. They make coloring an easy success, even for my 77 yr old mom who typically hates coloring. She absolutely loves these and is becoming a great colorist. ***Update: The triblends dry out real fast, especially the lighter colors. And although, these make blending easier, its just not worth the price. I'll stick with my budget brands in the future. They last a long time. ... show more

    • Coloring with Alcohol Markers should all be so easy as working with these of this set!
I have spent many dollars on the famous brand of markers, Copic, for card making and find that often, I spend more time deciding which colors to use as my light, medium and dark colors that blend well than the coloring peocess. This makes the process of creating a card daunting and long when using markers. I saw this set on YouTube. Thrilled they were available on Amazon. Even more excited after having used them many times now. It is WONDERFUL, TERRIFIC, TIME SAVING when using these great markers. Not only do they blend great, the idea that I only need pull 1 (ONE) marker to have ALL THREE COLORS in my hand, the ease of use and no numbers to figure out or calculate and test was incredible! That said, the storage is so easy and less space as well as the cost comparison to the Copic markers. I will keep my copics, the are ace, but these markers have made my start up in learning alcohol marker coloring, so much easier to be productive vs the "which color do i use" hesitation and irritation. I am not sure if they are refillable, but will look into it. I do love this set, they are limited in variety, but i have not found i need any other colors in the 2-3 wks using them. Thy also store nicely! They do not have dual tips, no fine tip... but I have found most areas are done well with a steady hand. ... show more

I love that you can learn to shade with these markers and how beautiful the colors are. But and it's a small but they aren't ment to color large areas at a time so they will seem to run out very fast but if you let them sit their fine again, they seem to blend very well with other markers and pencils. ... show more

I love crafters companion markers. I have some of the original alcohol makers with the bullet tip and wide tip. Wanted to try her tri-blend markers and found them at a great price at Amazon.     • tri blend marker blend beautifully
I love the way they blend together for each marker color. I printed out a blending sheet and finished the whole sheet. The colors are beautiful. The handle is an odd shape and you have to adjust a bit, I had no problem holding them.
