I can't compare & comment about the material(s) used to make this particular part, but from what i see so far, it looks like it can last a while. As far as durability is concern, everything has a breaking point, Weather conditions, Temperature & Vibration is this product's worst enemy, it all basically depend on what type of plastic did the manufacturer use. Was a perfect fit, but didn't match exactly. Got these for my son's 2007 Civic Coupe LX. The OEM's had orange marker lens like the ones pictured here, but the ones in the box had clear marker lens. I had to get orange bulbs so that the turn signals would be the right color. In retrospect, I actually like the look of these better. Kind of a bummer than both Honda and Toyota autos require that the whole bumper cover be removed to swap out headlights. ... show more

If you want to replace your headlight housing and you’re thinking oem, think again. Spec-D did an awesome job making these headlights. The fitment on my 8th gen Civic coupe was next level. Literally pop out the old headlights and reuse the hardware to install these. No bad things to say, look great too. These fit my 2007 Civic coupe perfectly. Unfortunately, you have to remove the front bumper covering to install these (watch the youtube video). The quality seems as good as OEM.

First of all, it should be clarified that these headlight head lamp DO NOT COME WITH BULBS. I didn't realize that at the time, but it does say that on the description. I don't mind because there are a lot of options when choosing bulbs (I decided on standard halogen bulbs for the low-beams, and high intensity bulbs for the high-beams). These look nearly identical to the factory-mounted headlamps they were replacing. They mounted cleanly, and easily just as I would expect an OEM part to do, and the bulbs fit perfectly. A quick test-drive on a bumpy dirt road confirmed they mounted solidly and securely as I expected them too. All in all, these are excellent replacements for my scratched and worn original lamps. ... show more
