I needed better headlights on my 1999 E350 ambulance turned Overland camperr, and these did the job, especially with LED bulbs. I don't like the look of blackout headlights, which is what I was afraid these would be, but instead they just have a light smoke tint, which will go really well with the upcoming charcoal gray and black paint job. Light output is excellent, beam pattern puts the light where you need it, and with a sharply defined "cut off" in the upper portion of the beam, you get light on the road, but not in oncoming driver's eyes. ... show more

    • Great set - read my review for installation tip.
They look great installed, but a little hard to get them in - I had to use the mounting "knuckle" from the original on the top of them (transferred from old to new). But that was just a matter of unscrewing it. The one that comes with it is too big for the factory locking strap. Putting the strap in that comes with it is next to impossible. Just transfer that piece and use the factory! ... show more

These are for my 93 e150 van , they did fit well but they do not adjust properly, the adjustment is maxed out and won't adjust up enough to gain the correct distance lighting, also, they are not near as bright as the OEM lenses even while using the same led bulbs , but they look cool , I'm considering re-installing my OEM lenses ... show more

These cleaned up the front of my 02' E150 very nicely! They are light plastic, but they look good. They came with the conversion cables and everything was easy to install. They are simple to adjust to a perfect fit.

Got this ones in 2017. Its been one year without replacing the original expensive compact headlights. You know...you have to buy the whole lamp if they go bad. But not with this conversion, if it goes bad you just get the bulb at your choice and that's it. I do recommend that if you buy these, to give 2 or 3 clear coats of spray paint. If you dont, it will be very easy for the nice clear plastic get scratch by little debris. Great choice on these ones tho, im happy with them, thanks. ... show more

Not a direct replacement for the factory light. None of the adjusters are in the right spot. You can see the original gray light and then this light is the black one. The adjuster with the rod should be on the bottom right (when looking at it from behind), instead it is on the bottom left and with it adjusted all the way down, it sticks out 3/8" farther than the factory unit which means this headlight is sticking out from the van by 3/8" and looks horrible. I'm going to have to swap all 3 of them around because none are in the correct spot. The plastic feels a lot chintzier than the 17 year old factory unit so odds are good at least one of the six will break in the process of swapping them on both lights. UPDATE: I swapped them around to the correct spots without much hassle (once I figured out how - just used an adjustable wrench and "unscrewed" them). However, I soon found out that the non-adjusting nub on the bottom left was too big for the slide to lock the headlight in place. The diameter of the nub is larger than the hole in the locking slides. I thought I would just replace my factory slides with the ones they provided but they were identical to the factory ones so no dice there. I ended up swapping the nub with the one from my factory light and then I was golden. After the troubleshooting, it was about a 5 minute install, like it should have been in the first place. I will say that they do look really nice once they are installed. I can't say how well they'll hold up but if you want to give your van a fresh look, don't be afraid to go for these, but do expect to have to do what I did to make them fit. My rating simply reflects the fact that these weren't ready for install straight out of the box. I don't like leaving one star reviews but in this case I am in hopes that they'll actually read this and correct the issue in their manufacturing process, especially considering how simple of a fix it is. ... show more
