I’ve ordered both 4 gauge and 2 gauge Spartan cable in 15 and 25 ft lengths for welding ground lines and as a positive lead for stick welding. In general, this is very nice cable. Flexible, appears to be true to gauge, and 100% copper. My experience with the 15’ lengths is that they are almost always exactly 15’ …to the 1/4”. Unfortunately, the 25’ length I ordered was almost 5” short and had a full 23” section where the jacket was continuously and deeply scored. Fortunately (?), the damaged jacket was at the very end of the cable but between the short length and the damaged section, I ended up with less than 23’ of cable. ... show more
