I bought some of these type bags from a competitor and they ripped EVERY TIME I put something in them to be shipped. Mostly shirts, so nothing too big for the bag’s use. I haven’t that problem with these at all! Excellent reinforcement and no rips, even when shipping heavy denim. The plastic that goes over the sticky part doesn’t peel off unless you do it on purpose which is also a plus. That can be a nightmare. Will buy from this brand only in the future. Somewhat unrelated: I will say make sure to keep the plastic bit that goes over the sticky part away from cats. My cat loves to play with them but I read a story online that a girl had to take her cat to the vet because he got this long plastic piece stuck in his digestive tract. Super expensive vet bill for her…I’m careful to not let her get ahold of mine now! ... show more

The static cling is ridiculous! and I live in a humid climate. I cannot imagine how bad it would be in a dry climate. I do not recommend these if you are going to use these more than just occasionally. I usually package 20-30 pieces of clothing at a time and the strips that you pull off is difficult to get started and it is near impossible to get them off your fingers. Once you do get it off, it will stick the next nearest thing. I won't be reordering and will try zip close soft poly bags. ... show more

I have ordered these in a few sizes and find them really helpful for packing smaller magazines (not big ones like LIFE) and small comic books and shirts. I have a small space in a shop for many different items but some items you don't want little kids touching and I needed a way to protect them. These worked great for that. They are handy to reopen but sticky enough it is not easy and re sticks well. Great so you don't have to put a price tag on something you don't want to put a sticker on.
