    • Speedy, high capacity storage
Rather than using this storage card with a device such as a camera or other typical portable electronics, I'm using this card as a means to backup all my important data from a laptop. In real world usage I'm getting around 75 MB per second write speeds. Even if I am saving thousands of very small files, I get very good performance where I would typically slow down to a crawl with some other cards. In fact, this card along with a good quality micro SD card reader works so well for me that I've switched over to this rather than using thumb drives. In the past, using a thumb drive typically provided a lot better performance, but that no longer seems to be the case. Combine that with how small these cards are and you can create a library of cards in a very small amount of space. ... show more

**Update - I recently purchased the 256GB Pro Plus 180MB/s Read and 256GB Pro Ultimate 200MB/s Read for my drones. I installed the new cards as well as the older 256GB Pro Plus 160MB/s into a 10GB/s Hub with a card reader to test the speed. I didn't achieve any benefits or speed advantage by going with the pricier Pro Ultimate 200MB/s Read version. Matter of fact the two newer cards were only about 10MB/s faster than the older 256GB Pro Plus 160 version. 256GB Pro Plus 200MB/s version (Black Magic Disk Test 127MB/s Write & 158MB/s Read) 256GB Pro Plus 180MB/s version (Black Magic Disk Test 126MB/s Write & 158MB/s Read) 256GB Pro Plus 160MB/s version (Black Magic Disk Test 116MB/s Write & 149MB/s Read) I can't separate the star rating for the individual Micro SD cards, but I would give the Ultimate 200MB/s version 3.5 stars for the false advertised 200MB/s read speed, and the Pro Plus 180MB/s version 4 stars because it's not much better than the older 160MB/s version. **** Samsung Pro Plus + Apapter 256GB micro SDXC I using this card in a Potensic ATOM SE 4K Drone and it works great.
