This is the best so far. I have tested its speed and it's amazing... almost as fast as my hard drive. But you have to use the USB that came with it. When I used an SD card , it went 4 times slower. So if you don't mind this USB stuck in your laptop - this is one heck of an additional hard drive space. I was very impressed and I had so many of them before... different brands. None was as good. And it's been a week now and it's very reliable. The problem I had with other cards were that after a few days - the data would get corrupted or gone completely... but this card , so far , has worked perfectly. I bought this for my GoPro 6 months ago to take on a trip to Costa Rica with me. The main selling points for me were: The fast read/write (data transfer speed) to assist with loading onto my desktop and editing The sturdy construction. Some of the cheaper versions of this USB DRIVE/SD CARD combo are made very shoddily and I have had more than one just stop recording after a drop of my video camera. MAJOR SELLING POINT: It has an included reader which streamlines the interface between the actual processing camera and the USB drive that a computer hard drive can understand! It is great to have fast upload/download speeds but even better to have a USB drive/sd card combo that will streamline that transition between camera and desktop. And It is compatible (my apple safari and Windows X) with many interfaces, some of the cheaper versions do not have this and I’ve lost GoPro and other important footage as a result of data transfer incompatibilities. I've been wary of buying 256Gb uSD cards as there have been so many fakes around, but this deal from Amazon themselves seemed safe as I know they'd replace/refund if fake. So I bought one for a very reasonable $20 and immediately run h2testw on it to confirm the true size and get a feel for the speed: Warning: Only 244414 of 244416 MByte tested. Test finished without errors. Writing speed: 102 MByte/s Reading speed: 112 MByte/s 102/112 is not the claimed 130/180 - *but* it i damned fast - faster by a factor of 2 or 3 than any micro SD card I've used before. And that was with the supplied Samsung USB reader - I haven't tried it on my Dell portable's built-in SD reader yet which ought to be a little faster (it took 1hr 15mins to test and I need my computer back now - I'll update this later if retesting gives interesting results) I can definitely recommend this chip (if it stays around the price I got it at, or less). ... show more

Laptops these days come with horribly low, almost non-existent storage. Love this - it's not that big that it's in the way. Very useful - I put a 1 TB micro sd in it and instantly, I have additional storage on my laptop.
