For starters, I am 5'4, 190 lbs, size 12 or 14 generally, about a 34C to 36B cup and I normally wear a Large for bottoms and a Medium for tops. Taking the whole body into account, I typically would order a Large for rompers, jumpsuits, swimsuits or anything of that sort that are one piece and one size. Since this says to order your normal size, I went with a Large. I got it on pretty easily, but the first thing I noticed is that I don't fill out the cups. No biggie. But looking at the back of the shapewear is where my problem is. It came with a little bag of various clear straps and also a bra hook connector. Left unused, the back of the shapewear is supposed to be fitting for low back dresses. But supposedly, where a bra strap would normally be, you could put on the included piece and it would pull the 2 sides together at your rib cage basically. Those edges were on my sides and there's no way that bra hook piece would even fit if I tried. I have included a picture of my back. For now, I guess this shapewear will just always be a "low back" style shaper until I loose a few pounds. As it is, I can't imagine if I went up to an XL how much bigger the cups on the front would end up being (that I already don't fill out). Aside from the bra hook on the back that would never fit on for me, I like everything else about this. The thong bottom is nice because then there is no need to worry about visible panty lines. It's very slim and sleek and I imagine would really do wonders smoothing out my mom bod under a dress. I will wear it as it is for now whenever I need it, and work up to my goal of being able to attach that bra hook piece someday! ... show more

Absolutely not. This Spanx body suit has no bust support, aside from the u-shaped wire at cleavage which isactuslly.kind if cool. The cuos themselves are.tiny and floppy. Not for anyone larger than a B The bodysuit is very short in its torso length. The color is fine, basic black. The fabric is smooth and stretchy. As you would expect. Has silicone stripes in the inside presumably to keep it from rolling or drifting I would not consider wearing this undergarment for even a shortlived event. Its pretty unwearable , at least.for me personally. In term of quality like sewing and fabric?, maybe, I would say 3.5 stars. But the cups and lack of support force me to deduct because I'm not only concerned with the quality but also with the wearability. I also don't understand the point of a compression shapewear garment thats also skimpy. How can you squeeze up what you aren't even covering? There are some unexpected loops on the back of the ribstrap, not sure what that's serving. ... show more

This bodysuit would have been absolutely perfect if my breasts could fit comfortably. I’m 5'4", 180 lbs, and wear a 40DDD bra. The overall fit of the bodysuit was flattering and the material felt high quality, typical of Spanx, but the top portion was just not designed for fuller busts. There wasn’t enough coverage or support, which left me feeling more uncomfortable than confident. It would be amazing if Spanx could consider a bust-inclusive version of this bodysuit for women with larger chests. I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately, it fell short in that area. I am so impressed with the design of this SPANX Suit Your Fancy shaper. It's designed in such a way that it can be worn under today's sexiest formal dresses, but also works well for anyday wear under anything. I wear a dress size 8/10, and the large is perfect for me. It arrives with the removable back cross-piece and clear silicone straps in a small, attached organza bag. The straps it comes with are fully adjustable, and I needed to cinch them up a bit to make the bra part not bulge out on the sides, but once I did that, I was amazed at how streamlined and supportive the top part was on me (for reference, 36C, sometimes a D). Both sets of straps can also be worn in several different ways, to work under literally any dress that isn't strapless. I have a casual dress that I was considering getting altered due to the plunging neckline that showed my bra, but now that problem is solved. The bra top actually pushes up and inward, creating cleavage where it can show to maximum advantage. That effect is even better when I add the strap across the back, but you don't need the backstrap to get there. If you are going to wear a formal with a deep, plunging neckline, or a super low back, you NEED this undergarment. It also provides an overall smoothing effect on the sides and back, with or without the backstrap piece. It's not a super-tight, uncomfortable, hold-your-breath-all-night type of shaper. But it smooths out the lumps and bumps and is made of a slick enough material that dresses don't cling. I see so many dresses today with a super-low back, and I wonder how the women do that ... and then I try on this shaper and realize, THIS IS HOW THEY DO IT. The other thing that's really nice is that the upper part of the thong doesn't cut in and create an awkward line under clothing. It's seamless, and very thin material right there, and has sticky silicone backing along the edge. Nobody will know you're wearing it, and it will let your natural booty curve show. There are no snaps or other uncomfortable nonsense at the crotch (lined with cotton, of course), just pull it aside for bathroom breaks. Easy. SPANX knocked it out of the park with this one. They have yet to let me down; it's like they think of everything. It's pricey, but it's also a very versatile must-have for any woman's wardrobe. ... show more
