These are great! I ordered to wear under my backless, full lace wedding dress in April. However I expected it to run small! I am 5'6 and fluctuate around 170lbs very hour Glass shaped. I ordered the large and I feel like I could use some more compression! But it did make my size 16 jeans like 3 sizes too big they we're falling off after I put on the Spanx! The seams are smooth and invisible under my skinny jeans. Yes the top did roll a little. The top edge sits right at my waist, under my ribs in between two chub "rolls" lol so even though the waistband rolled it was hidden and never made me uncomfortable. The legs didn't budge. The material kept my booty warm while sitting outside on a chilly night but was breathable enough that I felt comfortable the whole time. Love this short - it's perfect for stomach compression. It doesn't feel like too tight when you put it on, but as the day goes on, it can get worse. It fits well, even for a petite figure.

From the other reviews, I was skeptical of these at first. I got a size small and when I pulled them out of the package, they looked TINY but as it turns out, they’re actually not even as tight as I was hoping. I’m 5’4” and around 145lbs, and I bought them for doctor-ordered abdominal compression so I needed them to be really tight. Overall I’m pretty happy with them though; they’re definitely comfortable enough to wear everyday, although they do roll down at the top and up at the thighs a little. ... show more

(This will come up as my husband’s account, but I am writing this as his wife.)I am 5’5 around 185. I had another pair of Spanx that fit fine but wanted more side construction. These fit the bill. I bough the large thinking it would give me more control it they were a bit small, but these are just a tad short they don’t come up over my stomach like the other ones do, but that might just be I bought a size too small. I don’t buy these to make me look thinner. I buy them to keep me from “giggling” when I walk. I would rather look tight and thick and not fat and flabby. ... show more

Holds your body firmly, however they are very tight because they're heavy duty, and there is no split for the crotch, if you have to use the bathroom you're stuck pulling them down and pulling them back up.
