When I was shopping for these I went to so many sites online and decided on these. Not realizing they are advertised as 14k gold with sterling post. If they really are I got a really good deal on this pair. They are advertised as chunky no I don't agree with that . they do taper into a wider thickness at the bottom of the hoop but they don't have that overly puffed out look like a chunky hoop may be. They are a nice size not too big of a hoop. The interior of the hoop is probably the size of a nickel with the body of the hoop being on the outer side. They have a classic traditional look to them not gawdy. I have only worn them once out to dinner but they were comfortable and didn't feel like I had them on at all. These earrings feel really nice for just 14 dollars, they’re a good weight (heavy but not too heavy) and thick and so far none of the gold has been scratched off. Doesn’t feel cheap at all. Good purchase
