When I first ordered and received these I was so excited to have them for around our fire pit, sipping a glass of wine. The lids are convenient to keep little bugs out on a summer evening, they are a plastic which I figure if dropped at least I wouldn’t have glass to clean up. However, I notice that the lids do not have any kind of rubber seal. The liquid in the cup will drip between the lid and outside edge of the cup. So I keep a paper towel handy to wipe up drips. I’ll use them, but disappointed about the drips. I’m going to see if my husband can come up with some sort of seal. He’s good at problem solving…. ... show more

Purchased as a gift for my mom. After one use, she put it in a sink filled with soapy water. The water got into the inside of the cup-where the stem of the glass appears. She couldn’t get the water out and doesn’t want to use it for fear of drinking the soapy water (I don’t blame her). I tried to separate the parts and it broke very easily.
