We loved the color and the finish of the desks so we ordered two. Assembly two desks was not as easy as we had thought. First, we have assembly many desks and fixed many issues in the past. This set of desk had a lot inconsistencies. First desk: The pieces arrived with a few dings and chips due to packaging and delivery. We managed to successfully assembled the first desk after we drilled a new mis-aligned holes. Second desk: This one too had a few dings and chips. The assembly was much more problematic. The misaligned holes could not be easily fixed by drilling new holes (because they would make one very large holes, hence we had turn the piece backward and re-drill new holes on the finished surface and exposed the unfinished surface. Once we started to assemble the shelf and the drawers we discovered that we received 2 pieces of P1 and missing a piece of G2 which are essential to assembly of the shelf.

This package is extremely heavy...the directions were good for putting it together. The desk had a quarter size dent on the top but the credenza hides it. It looks pretty but there are small dings where the gray is rubbed off...shipping must have done that. It looks pretty, great color, works for my needs.

I have been looking for the right desk for the small area that I have. I am very pleased with this product. It is small, but sufficient for my needs. I really like the little shelf and it has plenty of room for my monitor, lamp and desk accessories. Also little cubby holes for “stuff” and shelf underneath for my papers. (The shelf does not slide out.) It is very sturdy. There is room for my desk chair and my legs but I am only 5’3”! I gave a four star rating as the assembly was a bit challenging. No spare screws so make sure you don’t lose any! I would recommend.

I was looking for a smaller desk with drawers. I was excited to find this one. I was disappointed when I unpacked it the box was ripped. There was a fair amount of damage with chunks missing, chips and dings. Not too difficult to put together. However, not all of the pieces were labeled as others mentioned.

My 12 year old daughter and I put this together, took us about 2 1/2 hours. Its a good size for me and I like the extra shelves for storage. I know that the shelf under is for a closed laptop, I would prefer it to be a slid out keyboard tray. As using my laptop on Top, I need to get a chair that is taller as it hurts my arms to type. Other than that, I am pleased.

One week after it was delivered and assembled. Toxic chemical smell still comes off the desk. Avoid at all cost if care about your health.
