I don’t write reviews, but these boots were so phenomenal that the entire time I was hiking around Northern Ireland for the week, I was rehearsing the review that I felt indebted to write for these shoes from Heaven’s cobbler. They were so easy to slide in and out of, and I cannot express how thankful I was to be able to traverse all sorts of terrain and cover so much ground without pain or discomfort. Totally love these!! They are lightweight, warm, comfortable and keeps me safe on icy streets and snowy roads. You still need to be careful on melted ice on roads but they are truly extremely good value for money and provide very good traction when going to parks and sightseeing in snowy icy winter. I totally recommend these. They do run on the narrow side so I guess they won’t suit wide feet. You need to take 1 size up from your usual sports shoe size to allow room for thicker socks and when your feel swells after a day of walking. ... show more

Very nice pair of winter boots. Last time I purchaced they ran very tight. I'm a 8-1/2 ladies size foot. Thinking ahead of the game I ordered a whole size up 9-1/2. Very lightweight but warm enough for WA weather. I’m true size 7. I wear size 7 for Nike and crocs shoes but sometimes some sandals I wear size 6.5. Almost all my Sorel are size 7 but I ordered size 8 for these boots base on other people’s review. Since it’s very lightweight I don’t feel too bulky inside. It’s not too tight it’s not too loose. Though they felt a little narrow at first, the boots widened with a little bit of use, and were super warm. I wore them for days in Alaska, with temps below zero. With wool socks, these boots slip on, and off, very easily, making it so easy to take them off when you come in the house and then slide them back on. WAY TOO SLIPPERY, did not expect this from a Sorel boot. My birkenstocks have better traction. Other than that, the boot is very narrow and it probably is a good idea to size up, at least if you are a half size. I wear 6 12/ and got a 7 because it was suggested. They are slightly too big in length but could not be any snugger in width. Unsure I will be able to wear a thicker sock. They are VERY warm, cute and the inside sole is comfortable. I don't usually leave reviews but I bought these to replace my old faithfuls that are falling to pieces and wore them in 4degreeF for 4 hours snowmobiling and my feet were toasty warm the entire time. Walked through loose 4-6 inches of snow, feet stayed dry. I haven't tested the waterproofness by sticking my foot in a puddle, but I don't exactly make a habit of doing that. Also very comfy, I am a 7.5 and size up in most things to an 8 and usually have a bit of space. The 8 fit perfectly with my thicker winter socks. Also they look cute but slightly sporty. These boots are warm, beautiful and most importantly comfortable. I always size up with boots to fit thicker socks and these were a perfect fit.
