Absolutely love these shoes! I was a bit nervous given that Sorel typically runs too narrow for my wider feet that then spread even wider the longer I'm on them, but wanted to give these a try and I'm incredibly glad I did. The upper sole is a mesh-type, breathable fabric that is supportive without being restrictive so the shoes expand and contract with my feet. The laces are more decorative than anything because they're not holding the shoe closed– the shoe goes on like a sock. They're now the most comfortable pair I own because of these things. So much so that I bought a second pair in another color! I wore these exclusively on my recent trip to Ireland where I walked an average of 9 miles per day, rain and shine. These made those treks a breeze and I never had to worry about sure-footing. Plus I got constant compliments and questions about them. You will not regret getting these! ... show more

I really wanted to love these. Aesthetically these are so cute, but not comfortable what so ever! They are lightweight, but are hard bottoms. I ended up returning them. I’m 35 and at the age where I need comfort for walking/ at the gym.

These by far are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn! I just got back from my walk first time wearing them, and they felt amazing! No rubbing, poking, hurting of legs! No breaking in with these shoes, they fit like a glove! I usually wear between a 6 1/2 and 7 and I ordered the 6 1/2, I am so glad I did, I think I would’ve regretted it if I had ordered the 7. If cost is holding you back, don’t let it! These are worth every penny! I will be wearing these all summer long on my walks. These shoes are functional, but cute as well. I have several pairs of the same shoe in different colors. I have both styles of with and without shoe strings. This pair, however, is the most uncomfortable shoe I have. It almost feels like there is absolutely no insole. It is strange that this once pair out of 10 are horribly uncomfortable. They are cute, though! ... show more
