They look so great!. They are chunky, so my feet do look a bit bigger than they are. I usually wear between a 8-9, and I’m glad I went with the bigger size. Plenty of room for socks! I have very flat feet, and arch support is usually uncomfortable. But, whatever these have going on was perfect the moment I put them on, and still felt good after wearing them all day. The roomy toe box is really nice! I have a permanent leg/ankle/foot injury, so finding the right shoes is often very difficult. Every step is varying degrees of painful. Severe swelling happens after walking or standing for any real length of time. These boots made my injury feel a little less painful, thus making my life a little more enjoyable. They look great, support great, and feel amazing after all day wear. I had a hard time initially buying them, as they were higher than my budget allowed for, but the moment I saw them in person I felt better about it, and once I put them on… I knew they were the right choice! I’ll be saving up for another pair of shoes from Sorel, for sure!

Bought as a gift for myself! A quality boot for the winter time. I live in Alaska with 6inches of snow currently and they have kept my feet dry. I was skeptical about the ‘waterproof’ part but they seem to be holding up in the snow well! (I don’t normally wear them outside for longer than 1 hour) I listened to the reviews & got 1/2 a size up and they fit perfect! Pros: - warm/fuzzy inside -waterproof when walking in snow -cute & go with almost anything -easy to slip on and off when going to work or the gym Cons: - I have wider feet so it took a week to break them in -show laces don’t stay tied unless double knotted -if too much snow gets in between the bottom of the traction it can become slick so be careful! Otherwise love this boot & extremely happy with this purchase!

I LOVE the look of these BUT, I am a Womens US size 9, B-C width with high arches. I've tried Sorel in the past but they were always too narrow. So, I followed the recommendations (from Sorel website and cust reviews) and ordered one size up (to a 10 which normally would be way too large) and am shocked that they are still too narrow and barely long enough for my size 9 foot (my big toe is touching the end of the boot, and because the toe box is NOT wide there is zero wiggle room for my toes). I certainly won't be able to wear heavy socks. My advice would be that if you have wider feet (esp at the toes) and higher arches, order (AT LEAST) one and a half sizes up if you want to wear winter socks with these. There is no arch support, (the spongy insole is removeable) yet the shoe is quite tight across the arch, even without the insole. They have a really grippy traction on the sole so should be a gorgeous boot for walking around town in the ice and snow.

My wife wanted two pair of the boots..this color (black) and the off white/cream color. She went back and forth and decided to look for something else. I asked her why she didn't buy them? Cost and she might could.get a way better price. Understanding the company rep, I bought both for her and..as expected they are the most comfortable boots she's ever owned and would wear them in the summer if she could. Lol. Well put together, looks great and water resistant as stated. Can't state enough that the price should not deter you. She's price shopping and learned that..get the GOOD stuff and stop wasting time and money, and then write.bummer reviews.

Can't speak for it's ability to resist water as i have not tested it yet. They arrived quickly but were very narrow. Im a size 5-5.5 that always gets 6 on tennis/boots. The size 6 were so narrow they hurt the sides of my foot right away and no chance of wearing socks comfortably with them. The shoe itself looks well made and very sturdy otherwise. Im returning it so i can order one with a half size bigger and a shorter built. More like a bootie. My ankle ang leg swells at times and the hight of its lace up area, up my mid calf may not be too comfortable to walk in after some time and i suspect, i may end up walking like Herman Monster.

I have many summer shoes from this company. I just wear black shoes at work and having these waterproof boots looks so much better than rubber boots. I have a high arch and these boots have zero arch support. I have search support inserts and am not figuring out if I should have more than that. Under bootcut pants, the high top is annoying and bothersome during the day. Over slim pants, it’s all good. My biggest goal was/is to have a black rain boot with some warmth as I have the exciting opportunity to walk to work. They are cozy inside!! Get your inserts ready if you have arches-really high arch supports, not the typical kind They are made for flat arches.

I've had my eye on these Sorel boots for a couple years, but always hesitated at the price. Amazon had a better deal than department stores (most at about $150), so I took the splurge. These are very warm, lined with a soft material, and quite comfy. They are a bit snug, but keep out cold Chicago winters. I have mostly worn these in light snow or freezing temps. If you're on the fence, go ahead and buy!

Love these! I feel cool in them, they are super stable to walk on, and match diff styles of pants. They feel modern and in the sneaker trend. As a 40 year old mom, I use these a lot for school drop off in Colorado. Work well with leggings. Roll up non skinny jeans to fit with them. A lot of duck boot styles have a heel and I don't like that because I am clutzy and fall a lot. Sizing -- for me medium width foot they run about half size small. I wear a true 10.5 and the 11 works well with a normal sock. Really thick socks might feel a bit tighter, so if thick socks, maybe go up a full size. But for me, half size is great. Highyl recommend.
