Positive: good value for wine storage and allows connection to back wall for stability. Doesn't take long to assemble.The rack is a utility fixture, not luxurious wine racking. Negative: 1.Some layers of racking are welded a bit too close requiring you to deflect the layer wire to get bottles in (pinot noir bottles- 3rd wire down from top) 2. Have to figure out how to stabilize the second rack to create 2 bottle depth storage (still designing that solution). Price went up $10 between the first and second rack purchase which was less than 2 weeks apart which makes you feel you've been had... Summary: I would not have bought the second rack if the first didn't deliver on my expectations at a reasonable utility cost. I'd buy a third if I needed another. ... show more

The rack seems sturdy but we did attach it to the wall for insurance: The shelves are well spaced and wine is easy to see and place/remove. It does not hold large quantity (1.5+) bottles. A great rack for the price.

This is not a fancy rack and I intended it to go in a closet…I have a lot of wine on hand. It serves well but definitely needs anchoring to a wall for stability. It will not hold sparkling wine bottles in the end slots of each row, but otherwise it works well for what I wanted.

I wouldn't recommend it as a free-standing wine rack, but they give the hardware to secure it to the wall which makes it quite sturdy. For the price, excellent, as advertised.

We had a closet near our bar that was unused. I decided to put our wine collection in it, that was scattered about the house. Using the measurements of the closet, I discovered this metal rack. This is two racks, side by side, that came in one box - for 150 bottles. The box that came was not heavy, and it took a little figuring out, but not much - to put it together. Think IKEA on this one. The instructions to me are useless. The company would do better to take good pictures of the rack - that's all you need to figure it out. And that's what I did, I used the picture on the box. Not the best option but the rack came together in 45 minutes start to finish. Mounting on the wall - super easy. I put the empty rack to the wall - used a sharpy to mark the holes, removed the rack and drilled. A little clean up of the dust, rack put back, screwed it in, and we have a wine closet. It was fun arranging the wine. The closet looks great too. Love it. If you are asking if it is sturdy - the answer is a SUPER YES. I could stack a few extra rows on top if I choose. ... show more
