I ended up measuring everything with a bubble level every step of the way, from marking where I wanted to floating mount on the wall, to double measuring with the bubble level in between tightening each screw into the drywall anchors. Every time my bubble level came back in between the lines for a perfect horizontal shelf. Then came mounting the actual shelf and securing it with the screws underneath with the screws provided. Somewhere along the way, the shelf is now horizontally level on the outer edge but slanted on the side attached to the wall. I should have checked the pre-drilled holes before mounting this thing to the wall. Note for photos: my ceiling is not parallel to the floor, so the bed/headboard should match up with the floating shelf, not the ceiling. Either way, it does exactly what I need it to do, so I'm pretty satisfied. I have yet to put up the second floating shelf, but the instructions were quite easy to follow, and I'll be measuring the pre-drilled holes in the shelf before mounting the shelf to my walls. Overall, easy to install, lightweight, and arrived free of damages. I'll eventually buy more in different sizes.

It was getting more difficult to reach the detergent on the shelves soooo faaaaarr above the washer! And I'm 5'6" so not short, but those shelves are a stretch. I decided it wasn't worth chancing throwing my back out every time I did laundry so decided to get these shelves for the stuff I need to use a lot. They were easy to install and here's the amazing part - they lined up perfectly so they look like one long-ish shelf. First time, too! I didn't need to install, move, reinstall - as I usually do. The rods that hold them are perfectly aligned with the openings in the back. They really couldn't be easier to install - I'm a 67 year old lady and it took me about 45 minutes only because I was lining them up - if I was installing them apart it would have been even quicker. Really well done and the best price for this type of shelf - I shopped for awhile before settling on these and I'm glad I did! Highly recommended, great shelves!

I bought 2! And at a discount for like new which was practically new!! I used a different set of anchors and screws because I needed to use it with kitchen glass plates. If you don’t expect a real wood, this is perfect. It’s very well finished mdf. Gives a clean line to my kitchen.

These are nice floating shelves. I should have measured my space instead of eyeballing them. I should have gotten something closer to 36" instead of 24" so I still have not hung these. I will need to find a different location for them than where I was originally going to hang them. They look pretty basic and super easy to hang thouhg.
