I do like this product and it does work. Yet, I am glad that I only purchased one. If they fix the engineering issue of the center locking mechanism, I will buy more for my home, and I will probably buy them for family members. Like you will see in other reviews, the center locking mechanism is too tall. It does everything it’s supposed to do, which is wonderful to find a product that does that, but if you place a stack of plates in the center of your sink, they will rest on the center locking mechanism that sticks up too high, causing it to release and drain your water out of the sink.

I just installed a new stick with disposal and all it came with was the big plastic plug. I like a strainer Judy to keep unwanted items, like utensils out of the disposal. This did not disappoint, fits perfectly, easy to use and plugs perfectly!

The idea is good, but a VERY poor design. The stainless steel metal ring and sealing ring fit well in my sink (which has a disposal in it). The flaw lies in the plastic "innovative handle design" (to quote the seller) which attaches to the PLASTIC basket. The handle, which pops up and down, works to hold the water in the sink UNTIL you put something (a plate) in the sink and hits it. Even when folded down, it forces the plunger down, releasing the water in the sink. Again, a HUGE design flaw. I wouldn't be bothered with this type AT ALL. If I were to purchase again, I would DEFINITELY get the type that has a "flush" mount to the plunger part, eliminating the hassle of water escaping your sink. I decided it isn't that big of a deal for me to remove my stainless steel basket and use the plastic stopper the disposal came with to fill the sink.

Perfect design with one flaw. The center sticks up too high. Placing dishes in the sink will this center stem eventually break off?. Plus if you use a dish drainer again the stem sticks up through the drainer. Dishes drying & banging this part could weaken the center stem. Time will tell.
