I reallllllllly needed a good storage solution for all my nail art supplies (plz don't judge me for the excessive amount of nail gems, I know I have a problem), because shoe boxes weren't cutting it anymore and other storage containers weren't flexible enough with the types of things I needed to store. I came across this product, and even though it's most ideally suited for makeup, I can say that it works for nail art supplies, too! The top organizer is really where it's obvious that this is better suited for makeup than what I used it for... there's very little that can be done with the slots that are intended for lipstick, because they're too short for brushes and tweezers and, well, basically anything that isn't lipstick. So it's a bit of a wasted space, but I used it as best I could. As a nail art container, I would have dearly loved more of the taller sections to hold way more brushes and things of that nature. Even though the unit is quite roomy and can store a lot of stuff, it doesn't take up THAT much space, which I appreciate. It also looks really nice. I was also impressed that it came with felt lining for the drawers. However, what wasn't so great was that the lining for the small drawers was a bit too long, so I had to cut them down to the right size because they started bunching up. I am a LITTLE bit worried that over time, the weight of all the things in it might compromise the integrity of the structure; it IS plastic, after all, so not super sturdy. Another slightly negative thing is that the drawers squeak a lot when you pull them in and out. Maybe mine are just complaining under the weight of all those nail gems, and maybe the squeakiness is able to be fixed somehow... does WD40 work on plastic the way it does on metal hinges? LOL All in all though, it's in line with my expectations, and I'm very pleased with this organizer. It couldn't fit all my nail art supplies (like my stamping plates and accessories), but that's my own issue, as someone with a more reasonable amount of supplies could probably get everything in comfortably.

Holds a train case worth of makeup!

I love this makeup organizer! I was tired of digging through several tiers of my old train case to get the items I wanted to use and this organizer changed the game for me. I no longer have to open up an expanding train case that would tip over if bumped even slightly. This organizer has large drawers with more than enough room for all of my makeup and even some small drawers for smaller items. I use one of the small drawers for my small implements - makeup pencil sharpener, tweezers, nail clippers, nail file - and the other drawer for small makeup sponges. The larger drawers are deep enough to hold a full size round compact of finishing powder and full size Urban Decay eyeshadow pallettes with room for a few individual eyeshadow squares also. All of my full size liner and eyebrow pencils, mascara, and blush sticks and highlighter sticks and compacts, fit easily in one of the other large drawers. The top piece of this organizer has spaces for my large makeup brushes and all of my lipsticks as well as room for my bottle of primer and setting spray to sit on top! It is also beautiful in a dark see-through amethyst color. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this organizer and would buy it again! 5 stars *****

Perfect for getting organized! I loved so much I ordered another, slightly taller one from this same company, however, the drawer dimensions are a little shorter and do not fit many of my creams. I would love for the company to make more of THIS one that could stack different ways. Sturdy plastic, easy to clean. Black mats for bottom of the drawers come presized and with felt on one side so they fit perfectly and do not slip and slide. Drawers can easily be removed, cleaned, and replaced whenever needed.

I was sick of my makeup being in a different sort of makeup organizer that didn’t allow for very much organization. I like that this has drawers which helps cut down on dust, I hate dust and when it gets on everything I own. At least now I only have to worry about the top portion. I also can organize makeup by type so when I’m looking for something specific I know which drawer it will be in vs having to pick up 15 things to find one, and also having makeup that I forgot I even owned because it gets lost and buried in makeup bags. I actually have 2 of these, this one and the one with 4 large drawers and 2 small drawers. The biggest thing for me was it needed to be able to hold my eyeshadow palettes. It’s definitely not large enough for my James Charles X Morphe pallet but I can easily fit my Urban Decay palettes with space around them. I wish the portion at the top that holes lipsticks and all that were just a touch deeper or taller, sometimes when I bump my makeup table things fall forward and out because there’s not enough plastic to keep them completely in place, but if you have a stable area for your makeup it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Sometimes when I’m reaching for something in the back of it I will bump things in the front and they will also fall. I like that they provided precut foam to go in the bottom of each drawer. I had to trim a couple because they were a touch too big, not a huge deal. I think it would look prettier without them inserted but it helps keep my packaging looking nice and not getting beat up, and it will also prevent scratching and scuffing on the bottom of the drawers so I am using them. It also helps muffle the noise when you are rummaging in the drawer if that would be an issue for anyone. These would be SUPER helpful for people that are using this for jewelry as it will help protect your jewelry and also keep your items from scratching the drawers so again, very much appreciated that they are included though I have a jewelry box for mine. No assembly required, it’s preassembled and even though the packaging was kind of minimal, it was enough foam padding inside that they arrived in perfect condition. I was super nervous when I saw that the box wasn’t a lot bigger than the product, no cracks or chips though! My only other issue is the manufacturer box says it’s a small, whereas all websites are calling it a large. If the manufacturer is calling it small then I would love to see their large so I could get the James Charles X Morphe palette into one! Their website doesn’t seem to show one any larger than this so I’m not sure why they call it that small on the box. It’s a little pricey considering it’s plastic, but it looks really pretty and does what it’s supposed to. It’s high quality so it should last forever! I like that they come in colors because even though the clear ones are beautiful, this just adds a pop of color and makes them look more chic in your makeup area instead of just piles of makeup products!
