Love these tiles, we use them on an area in the yard that normally stays soggy due to shade, just happens to be the area our dogs love to play. Connected the tiles and put them down and it has nearly eliminated muddy paws. I have used rolled turf before in our yard and I much prefer these interlocking tiles

These realistic grass tiles from the Sorbus store are a little different to other grass pads that we've ordered before in that they are individual tiles, about 24" square, with a heavy duty plastic backing to assist with drainage. We used most of these to cover some bare sections on our balcony floor which had a similar looking grass mat but noticed that these tiles don't feature as much color variation near the roots as our larger mat. Construction wise, the mats are basically the same but these feature a plastic framework on the back that allows connectivity of the tiles in addition to improved drainage. With this system, you can still tell where the seams are but they still make for an attractive and functional floor covering. If desired, the plastic frame can be separated from the grass tiles but this requires the tedious removal of many short screws that are used to attach the mat to the plastic backing. If you need to trim these mats, the plastic frame does make this a little more difficult as it has significant thickness, requiring snips or a heavy duty knife to cut through the framework. Having the plastic backing frame does make these tiles sit a little higher than unbacked grass mats but this does have its pros and cons. The tiles still feel comfortable under foot but you can feel the plastic frame underneath compared with mats that lay directly on the ground. Overall, these look great but this tile system is not quite as smooth looking as a fixed sized mat. At just under $100 for the 6-pack, these are almost double the price of the equivalent uncut sized mat without the plastic framed backing, so we're giving these 4 stars.

This grass tile set looks so realistic. This is some good quality looking faux grass. You can easily set these up. Locking them together is how you can get them to stick together and work. However, I would be mindful of the surface it is placed on. The weight is not too heavy. These don't feel as great under your feet but they work in giving you the look you need for some faux grass for walls or floors. Overall, this is worth the price value.

Using them for my catio... it's one that attaches to my deck and wanted these for the bottom. With the doggy door, my dog also goes out there sometimes, she's yet to potty but these will be great when she does. I checked and sprayed a few off, they wash and drain then dry well. I also like that all the animals can lay on these rather than just the deck. They interlock easily and seem good quality so far

I didn’t know if I wanted to add turf to my garden or not. After I got these and tried a few tiles in the bald spot in my rock garden, I actually liked them so much I added a few to my deck where we sit to make it nicer. I love the soft feel of it and how it will dry out after a rain storm quickly. The big 24” tiles have good coverage, so you don’t have a bunch of smaller tiles to put together, making it seem more like a true grass. They were easy to put together with their interlocking tiles. They are sturdy enough to walk on and hold their shape on the ground. I am thinking of getting another set to finish off my deck so that way the whole deck furniture can be on the turf.

I like the way these feel on my feet! I can only wish that my real grass looked this good, so I wouldn't say it's natural looking, but it doesn't appear cheap or cheesy fake either. As other reviews have noted, they do have a very, very strong odor upon arrival. I'm usually not bothered by this, but it was so overwhelming that they went right outside to air out. That turned out fine, because ultimately it works better as stylish cover for the hot cement pool deck than it did for an indoor gym surface. They do a great job draining water and not letting anything pool or mold. I have yet to find artificial grass pads that are a *good* value for the money, but these are fairly priced according to market standards for what you get.
