Very impressive engineering! We have 2 Labrador Retrievers and have owned 2 Bissell upright carpet shampooers. They were not as effective as I would have liked and seemed to break with regularity. This portable unit is well built and extremely effective and easy to use. It has excellent suction for such a small machine. It is easy to clean and store. Would highly recommend this to anyone with a pet. Our first Lab vomit issue was easily cleaned up this morning despite a deep shag carpet. Not looking forward to the next mess but I know we will be ready!

I have a full-size carpet cleaner that I like, but it’s nearly impossible to clean the stairs with it and it’s a lot of work for quick spot cleaning. So I bought this, hoping to be able to clean my stairs without wrenching my back. This little carpet cleaner definitely exceeded my expectations! It is lightweight (even with water in it), easy to use, and it does a great job! And much, MUCH easier to clean out after use than my big one. And I love the rubber tool option - great for getting out embedded dirt, dog hair, etc.! Two minor downsides: It would not be good for big jobs - it takes 2-3 tanks of water to do a flight of stairs depending on how dirty/how much scrubbing, and it would take a lot more to thoroughly clean a whole room. But that comes with being lightweight - water is heavy! And I wish the cord were a little longer. But, overall, my main regret is that I didn’t get this sooner!

When it works, it's magic. The first one I got didn't spray - it just dripped when I pressed the trigger, if at all. (Luckily I tried it just before Amazon's return window expired.) I had to manually put the solution & water in a spray bottle & use the machine to suck it up. Not ideal, but it got the job done. Thankfully, I was able to hit the return window just in time. Made sure to try the second one immediately after receiving. In a stroke of good fortune? the cat threw up on the rug the day before it arrived. This one worked as advertised. Filled it with hot water & the water heater boosted the heat. The sprayer worked this time! The cleaning solution is effective. Machine sucked up the waste water (which, to be fair, was not an issue with either machine.) After a couple passes with the vacuum, the rug dried quickly. Easy to empty & clean. Not pleased the first one failed hard right out of the box, which is why I won't give it 5 stars. Check that the sprayer works when you get it! Like, first. thing. Don't wait until you need it to find out it doesn't spray! If I had waited another couple days I would have missed the return window & had to deal with Bissell support, which judging by other reviews is not a pleasant experience... I am happy with the performance of the second unit. However, quality control appears to be lacking, so make sure you test it immediately after receiving. May the force be with you & I hope you get a good one the first time...

I recently purchased the Bissell Little Green Cordless Spot Cleaner, and I have to say, I’m incredibly impressed with its design, functionality, and results. It’s definitely a must-have for families, especially those with young children and toddlers who are constantly making messes. Design and Build Quality: The design of this spot cleaner is sleek and professional. It’s compact, lightweight, and has a high-end feel that gives you confidence in its durability. It’s easy to hold and maneuver, which is great for getting into tight spaces like couch cushions and corners. The overall look is very modern and aesthetically pleasing, which is a bonus if you plan on leaving it out when not in use. Ease of Use: Using the Bissell Little Green is straightforward, but it does take a bit of practice to master. The first time I used it, I tackled some tough spots on my couch (which, as a parent of toddlers, was covered in a mixture of juice, food stains, and various other messes). I initially struggled because I didn’t spray enough of the cleaning solution on the fabric. As a result, the suction didn’t pick up as much of the liquid, and the cleaning didn’t seem as effective. However, after some trial and error, I figured out that the key is to be generous with the spray, especially on heavily soiled areas. Cleaning Effectiveness: The second time I used the cleaner (the next day), I made sure to thoroughly wet the fabric before using the suction. When I did this, the results were phenomenal. I could actually see the dirt and stains being lifted out of the fabric, and the couch looked nearly brand new by the time I was finished. The suction power is good, but it really shines when you apply the right amount of cleaning solution and use multiple passes over the heavily soiled areas. This process definitely requires a bit of patience, but once you get the hang of it, the cleaner works like a charm. Battery Life and Coverage: The battery life on a full charge is impressive. I was able to clean two L-shaped couches completely (seating areas, not the back or armrests) on a single charge, and the machine was still going strong when I finished. If you’re planning to clean a full couch—seat, back, and armrests—I’d recommend charging the unit fully for each couch to ensure you have enough juice. It’s not the longest-lasting battery, but it’s more than adequate for typical spot-cleaning tasks. Maintenance and Cleaning the Unit: Cleaning the Bissell Little Green after use is incredibly easy. The tank is simple to empty, and the nozzle is easy to rinse. There’s no complicated maintenance required, which is a huge plus. The fact that the unit is cordless also makes it very convenient to use, as you don’t have to worry about cords getting in the way. Critical Notes: • Initial Learning Curve: As mentioned, the learning curve is a little steep when you first use it. If you don’t spray enough solution or don’t let the suction do its job properly, the results won’t be as good as they could be. It’s important to be generous with the cleaning solution and use a methodical approach, especially for stubborn stains. • Battery Life: While the battery life is decent, I wouldn’t expect it to last for extensive cleaning of multiple pieces of furniture in one go. If you need to clean a whole couch (including the back and armrests), you’ll likely need to recharge in between.
