The media could not be loaded. If you're looking for something to protect from breakage that isn't massive or bulky, then this case is a great option. I've had different versions of this case from Sonix, and after a year of use, this one is the longest lasting. As you can see in the video, the paint is wearing off on the sides and the buttons are about to fall off. I've dropped the phone many a time and the case seems to be well designed to take the impact on the case edges, which prevents a cracked screen. I like the designs offered by this brand (I've had the brown tortoise and the iridescent pearl), and do feel like they're better protection than some other brands I've purchased. For me, those positives outweigh the lack of longevity and keep me coming back each time I want a new look or the buttons give out. ... show more

I've only had this phone case for about a month. The phone case itself fits my phone very well and the side buttons are comfortable to use and does not stick. It isn't too slippery and therefore feels nice to hold without accidently dropping it. However, it scratches way too easily. At first I had thought maybe it was dirty, but no they were scratches and bits peeling off. Despite being such a pretty case, as you can see in the pictures, it can start to feel and get a bit grimy just from the oils in your hands and fingers. The scratches are not even from being dropped onto the ground multiple times or anything, but just normal use, such as being in my bag/purse with my wallet and keys. (And my 'keys' are basically a car fob, one key, a keychain, and an airtag in a silicone cover.) This is relevant because if MY keys can do this to the case I shudder to think what it would have looked like if I had more than one physical metal key. While the phone case is perfectly intact and doing a very good job at being a means of protection for your phone. It will not remain aesthetically pleasing for very long and if texture bothers you? The feeling of the scratches and the lingering oils from your hands that seem to stick to this case, will be extremely off-putting. It is a cute case, and from afar the scratches are not noticeable, and in pictures it's also not TOO noticeable. So if you don't mind the scratches nor the oily smudgy fingerprints that will inevitably happen. It's a good case. If you're easily annoyed by textures or the feel of a slightly oily phone.
