If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to buy a file cabinet that functions exclusively as a sealed metal tomb, look no further — this vendor has perfected the art. I bought this cabinet in December, had it installed, and discovered it arrived locked with no key. A bold, innovative concept: a file cabinet you can admire from the outside but never actually use. Truly visionary. Amazon (understandably) directed me to the vendor. The vendor, in turn, offered the kind of customer service you’d expect from a brick wall. Their official response? “We can’t help you. Contact Amazon.” Because why take responsibility for the product you sold when you can just punt the customer back to someone else. And the phone number they provide for support? Oh, that’s a masterpiece. It answers with the company name — so you know you’ve reached the right place — and then immediately informs you that they are not accepting voicemail. No options, no humans, no help. Just a cheerful automated dead end. It’s like customer service performance art. So here I am, stuck in a loop where Amazon says the vendor is responsible, the vendor says “not our problem,” and the only thing this cabinet is storing is my rising blood pressure. If you enjoy unusable products, zero accountability, and a support line that exists solely to tell you it won’t support you, this is your dream vendor. For everyone else: run. Bought a used "like new" one for $70 it arrived with some dents but it's functional and will just be tucked away somewhere so I'll keep it. I have been using this since November 2024. It is sturdy and has not scratched. It isn't too heavy. Fairly lightweight and easy to move. It came with wheels and feet. I opted to use the feet. The screws fit nicely. It has easy drawer closure. The two keys come in handy. It comes with a normal key and a folding key. Both work properly. I like that you can lock the top drawer and it will lock every drawer simultaneously. The lock keeps my belongings safe from theft. ... show more

This Cabinet for the price is great, it was packaged well and i had no dents or scratches, for me it was very easy to build. Once its togeather its solid and theres no flex or bowing, The lock is solid you can feel the bars slide into place, however im sure anyone who really wanted could pick it quick. Im using this in my apartment for storage of tools, camp and fishing gear. Its just what i needed. it looks great next to my other furniture. If i were going to use it in a garage, i would personally buy something at a higher price point and heavy duty. The only negative i have is that its kind of short. instead of the legs on the bottom, i wish they would eliminate them, and just make the cabinets 5 more inches taller and given that extra space. All in all im happy with it ... show more
