Bought six of the large shelves for storing boxes and random other items in our basement. I was a little concerned at first on the "wood" thickness, as it's just 1/4" thick pressed board. But it seems to have enough support pieces to make it relatively sturdy. I wouldn't use it to store multiple extremely heavy items, but it works just fine for normal storage. You do have to manually bend the metal tabs on the shelf supports after installation to keep them in place - so re-configuring shelf spacing in the future might be a hassle.
