The media could not be loaded. These cameras were recommended to us by our neighbor and I'm so happy they told us about them! We actually bought the 5mp camera system and we have loved it so much that we added the 8mp cameras as well. TL;DR: 10/10 - would highly recommend these cameras for anyone looking for high-quality, subscription-free, affordable, easy-to-set-up, wireless/solar, security camera systems Here are some of the highlights that stuck out to me: No subscription and you can receive screenshots in your push notifications: This was a big one for me - the Soliom cameras and app send you a push notification with an image attached, so you can see what it captured from your phone's home screen without having to open the app. If you click on the notification, it will take you into the app and display the event that was recorded or the live camera feed in real-time. The notifications having screenshots was a huge sell for me, as every other camera system I looked at (Ring, Arlo, Blink, etc.) required you to pay a monthly subscription fee to have that feature, or they had to be hardwired, which would require lots of drilling and running wires through my roof Great video quality: The video quality is very clear and easy to see -- even in night mode. And it tracks, pans and tilts very smoothly to keep the image quality clear. You're able to zoom in on the video as well and it will hold the quality. You can also manually move the camera to look at something specific and zoom in Easy setup: The system didn't take very long to set up, and the directions were very clear/intuitive. It's simple to set up your motion detection area and adjust the sensitivity level. You can adjust the order of the cameras within the app so you can have your most important cameras at the top of the feed for quicker access. It also has a microphone that you can talk into and an alarm feature. You can also "snooze" each camera for certain periods of time - such as if you're doing yard work or having people over -- so it doesn't keep alerting you Spotlight tracking: You can enable a feature that will turn on a spotlight at night when motion is detected, and the light and camera will follow the subject - this makes the camera system feel "next level" to me and really heightens the security of it. You can choose not to have the feature on, and it will record in night mode - I have the spotlight feature turned on for some of the cameras and have it turned off for others Battery life: There have been zero issues with battery life. You need to make sure your solar panels are in the sun to help charge the cameras. The solar panel can connect to the camera mount, or it has a fairly long wire (about 10 ft), so you can mount it further away. Our roof has an overhang, so for some of our cameras, I needed to run the solar panel further up the roof so it could get sunlight (as those cameras are typically in the shade for most of the day) Great customer support: I ran into a minor issue at first where the motion detection zones would reset after about a week. I contacted their support team about it, and they resolved the issue within 24 hours, so I'd give their team an A+ for service Things to note: - The cameras need to be able to communicate with the homebase and there is a range where they'll stop communicating. Our home is about 2,500 sq ft and all one level -- I put the homebase in the middle of the home near a window and it's able to communicate with all the cameras on the front/back of the home and this has not been an issue - The homebase hardwires into your wifi router, so keep this in mind for where your homebase will be located in relation to your cameras -- we have Google Wifi with 3 wifi pucks. I chose to connect the homebase to the wifi puck located in the center of our home so it could hit all the cameras around the property evenly - The homebase comes with a 32gb micro sd card, which recorded and stored about 5 months of events for me -- and we get a bunch of events triggered on our cameras as folks come and go frequently. I bought a 128gb micro sd card for pretty cheap (like $10) and installed it, so I'm expecting that to hold nearly 2 years of data on it before I need to wipe/reformat it

I have purchased quite few Soliom cameras over the years and they’ve been very reliable and easy to use. So when I needed another camera by my shop I decided to purchased another solium and this time it was the Soliom SH802 (8MP) solar-powered security camera. So far I’ve been extremely impressed with its performance. Setup was straightforward, and the solar panel seems to keeps the camera fully powered without me needing to worry about charging or wiring anything. The video quality is outstanding—8MP Ultra HD is no joke. The clarity during both day and night is far better than most other solar cameras I’ve used. One of my favorite features is the magnifier zoom, which actually does allow you to clearly identify license plates from about 35–50 feet away. That’s rare for a camera in this price range. The radar technology works surprisingly well. Even in high-temperature conditions, I’m not getting the usual false alarms. Human detection is accurate and responsive, and the 360° pan/tilt with auto-tracking follows movement smoothly. Overall, the SH802 delivers strong performance, great picture quality, and reliable motion detection—all while running completely on solar power. A great choice if you’re looking for a wireless outdoor camera with real features that work as advertised. Highly recommended!

Installed this camera last week for my backyard. Video quality is really clear in daytime and night view also decent with the spotlight. Solar charging works good, no need to remove and charge again which is nice. Motion detection is mostly accurate, getting less false alerts compared to my old cam. The auto tracking feature also works fine and covers more area. Setup was easy but app little confusing at first. Pan and tilt movement is smooth. Storage without subscription is big advantage. Overall good security camera for home, specially no monthly fee is big plus. Not perfect but works well for my use.

Soliom has the best wireless security cameras, This outdoor kit with solar and hub system is outstanding. Very easy to set up with the hub system and the app interface is top notch. See pics for unboxing what’s in the box, quick guide and standard manual. Really all you need is the quick guide. It says charge the cameras but I just installed them, hooked up to solar and powered on. Should be fully charged if you have a couple hours of light left. This is a very easy system to set up and get connected to the app. Also very easy installation from start to finish I was about 90 minutes and full system installed and operational. That includes downloading firmware updates to each camera. Use your phone camera on the quick guide QR download the app. Plug the hub into your internet router. Turn it on open the app link the hub it basically sets up itself. Walks you through setting up the first camera step by step easy peasy. After the first camera is set up as you turn on each of the other cameras they automatically connect to the hub and appear in your app. What could possibly be easier than that??? I set these up on all 4 corners outside my house. They are about 70 to 80 feet from the hub. All connect no problem. Great HD picture quality 8k. I can find no other options with that quality at this price point. The app has motion sensing options and notification options. You can set the default view so if you move the camera or zoom in it return to the default view. Easy pinch finger zoom. Also a feature to set a block for motion detection. It will only trigger within that block not the entire image frame. See pics for camera mounting what the app looks like on your phone and image quality. Buy these you wont be disappointed.
