I have an adorable little cat, rescued as an abandoned runt kitten. She was skinny, a little fearful, and always picky about food. She's 4 years old now, not fearful, and well fed. She'd been eating Solid Gold Indoor Cat food, ONLY. She will not eat wet food. It's a challenge to find a dry she likes, that's good for her. She's very healthy, gorgeous thick silky hair, glowing healthy eyes, and a spicy, bratty, attitude, that never ceases to amuse. But this last year my skinny little runt has gotten FAT! CHONKY! Her new nickname is Porkchop! I know it's common for a spayed female cat to put on some weight, but I'd rather keep it down to normal levels. I don't give her a lot of treats, she plays and runs like a psycho, and I don't over-feed. Obviously she needed a new, lower calorie, healthy, dry, cat food. Solid Gold comes to the rescue again! This Fit As A Fiddle weight control formula has great ingredients, and production values, and SHE LOVES IT! I couldn't be happier. She couldn't be happier. I haven't seen any weight loss yet, but it's only been about 3 weeks. As long as she's healthy, and doesn't gain any more, I trust that she'll lose a little weight, and not get diabetes or some other awful disease from fatness. I recommend trying this food for any plump kitty, and I recommend Solid Gold Company products in general.

We had two beautiful boy cats for many years, and we had to make many trips to the vet for multiple reasons over those years. We fed them Science Diet dry food simply because we didn’t know any better. After they passed we eventually adopted two other kitties, and the first one came with some Solid Gold wet and dry cat food, and when I compared the ingredients of what’s in Solid Gold to “Science” Diet I couldn’t believe the difference in the quality of the ingredients. Science Diet sucks and is loaded with useless grain fillers that cats don’t need while Solid Gold is loaded with meat products, veggies, and other healthy stuff. The result? Our cats on Solid Gold have never been to the vet except for annual checkups and they get sparkling reviews from our vet. I feel horrible that we didn’t know better about this with our previous two beautiful fur boys, so I just hope others who read this can save their precious kitties from the mass-market crap food out there and spend a few extra $ now on something like this for the long-term good of their beloved kitties. You’ll likely save much more by buying this food than paying higher vet bills and experiencing heartache later on. Oh and by the way, cats LOVE it! We’ve tried four different Solid Gold varieties and they were all a huge hit. My neighbor’s cat is finicky so I got him a small bag of Solid Gold Indigo Moon to try and according to him she inhales it like no other food he’s given her. Yet another reason to absolutely love this food!

My dog has been over weight for years. We've been feeding her this dog food for about 6 months, and she's finally losing the weight. She loves the taste which she would refuse to eat other weight control kibble. We're happy with it, and I dare to say even she coat is shinier. The vet is very pleased and glad to see something is making a difference!

Our orange tabby baby isn’t really overweight, but little bit chubby. We have been using weight management food from other brand for a long time. He didn’t gain weight and he didn’t lose weight, he was kind of same. But he was always hungry, he was always begging for food. I decided to switch this brand with quality ingredients. We completed food transition process and now we are happy with results. He isn’t begging food anymore, he eats and leaves his food bowl. We think this food keeps him fuller. Bowel movements are also fine and he looks happier. I hope he will lose 1-2 pounds after a while though!

My cat usually is not oicky woth cat food and will eat anything but this food she nust wouldnt touch. I had to go back to her old food as she just wasnt eating. The ingredients seemed good but my cat just wont eat it and now im stuck with open food :(
