From the minute I first used the solawave, I noticed the mix of warmth,vibration and lymphatic massage-like strokes of the wand gave my skin a glow I haven't seen in awhile! I have issues with early morning puffiness and dark circles, and with just a few drops of the silky renew serum, and 5 minutes of using the wand, I look like bright eyed, de-puffed, and my skin is primed for my daily spf and makeup routine. Besides the immediate effects, I think the red LED lights are helping to fade some of my freckles and dark spots, and my skin seems a lot less dry (which in the winter is a real problem). This product does not hold a charge and it doesn't have an on/off button so you obviously let it sit. I don't get it. It stops working in the middle of me using it. It goes on and off and then it doesn't turn on again. This thing costs entirely too much money for it not to work properly. I will be getting a refund since I can't use it. Day 1 I charged it and used it immediately and it was fine. I out it away for the day next and started to use it and it shut off and wouldn't work. I charged it and let it sit and used it again but I couldn't even get the minimum 3 minutes out of it. I read the manual to see if it said anything specific about how to charge it and it says it holds up 90 minutes of use time but if I'm not using it why wouldn't it work after it has been charged? Because of this I do not recommend it. I was unable to use it for a prolonged period of time because of the charging issue.

Been using this for over two weeks, and increasing the times. At first, I noticed the neck looked to become more defined. Now, I can tell with the fine lines around my eyes and the deep smile lines. I recommend using it after you cleanse your face with a foam/cream. Then, add a moderate amount of serum and use it for a couple of seconds to a minute. Increasing with everyday use, I can almost guarantee that you will get your monies worth.

You have to keep it in constant motion or it’ll stop working. Clearly it’s an issue because the directions address what to do when it stops, and sometimes those things work and sometimes they don’t. At first I was doing a part of my face and then stopping and putting serum on the next area, and stopping to turn the head, it would intermittently stop working and I’d do the things the directions suggested and then it straight-up stops working. You have to let it sit for a long while or plug it in. I’ve found that the only way to use it is to keep the head in one position and just keep using it constantly until your done. Since I initially wrote this review, I changed the way I used it and put the serum all over my face before I use it. I will tell you that it has changed the texture of my skin and has reduced my puppet lines and has tightened my next. I use it everyday and really started noticing the results after a month and a half. So ultimately, I’ve decided that it’s worth the money, even with the performance issues.

The first few times I used it were fine. Then I started getting headaches. I am not prone to headaches fortunately so I started looking at the timing of the headaches. I noticed they were happening during the time I was using the SolaWave wand. I was using it at night on a cleansed and moistened skin, I was also using SolaWave serum. I was getting sharp headaches that made it difficult to sleep. I reread one of pamphlets that came with it and there is a paragraph: ADVERSE REACTIONS. Under that caption reads if you get persistent headaches discontinue use and consult your physician. I don't know why the SolaWave wand (not the serum) gave me such severe headaches. I haven't experienced a headache since I stopped using it. I also, like other reviewers, don't like that it shut off during use. I don't understand why it shuts off mid-use. In the end, this was not a product I trust so I returned it. I recommend thoroughly reading the material provided to see Who Should Not Use iIt, Precautions, Adverse Reactions, and Very Important sections.

I love this red light treatment tool. It is a nice addition for at-home spa nights and gives you a something special to look forward to. It is a bit pricey, but since it is rechargeable, and can be used with a serum you prefer, I believe it is justifiable. I have seen some changes in my skin. My smile lines are not as deep, and my skin is much more even and less red. It is not a miracle tool, but it is a helpful tool to help you reach your goals of more healthy skin with a good routine and healthier lifestyle and diet.
