It suits my needs for a mail box and it is a good size. I had a choose between this and one 15 dollars more.     • Not waterproof
This is a very simple and basic mailbox. The lock could easily be broken/jimmied open. But it does lock. This meets the need for my purposes. It's a shame that it is not waterproof. Any rain gets inside and everything gets wet. I have come up with a cover that helps, but it shouldn't be necessary.

sturdy construction, with a flap that protects the slot. But like others have pointed out, the slot is wide enough to stick fingers in to, and someone might be able to rotate the lever that locks the lid shut, or pull something out of the box. In my case, I needed a cash drop box in an occupied office, so it works well to deter people from removing items. It might also come in handy if the keys are lost. If you need just a locking box to deter someone from taking things out, this is a good option. If you need a higher level of security, this is not it. ... show more

Arrived damaged but we're going to use it anyway because I dont want to mess with returning it and the damage is on the back side where you can't see it. It is small but letters will fit, it comes with a lock you will have to install. Fyi, it does not come with screws so you will have to provide your own. ... show more

Good mailbox. Sturdy enough for the cost, and I like the design of it. Plus, it's not too small. I did end up finding it at Menards but for the same price so I wasn't too mad. If you have a Menards by you and don't want to wait for delivery...

I really like that it had a lock which I didn’t know and came with 2 but I wish it was a lock that stayed on it’s a little clip that I think if your hands was small enough they would be able to slide off and open up and the slot for the mail is big enough so that some one could pull your mail out if they wanted to steal it I like the fact that it had 3 holes for the screw and I only needed the middle one and it was sturdy ... show more

This mailbox is economical and good looking. I replaced 4 for an apartment building. It is a little flimsy but it does it job and will last many years.. Only thing I wish it also included would be mounting hardware.

What you see is what you get.. I bought a home and the mailbox was under the car port. I hated it so I purchased this one and moved it to the front of the house. The only down side is, it didn’t come with screws
