Everything in box looks to be ok and in working order however, 1 problem i noticed right away is that the brackets to hold solar panel, which are needed as there is no way to mount flat down, are a full inch bigger than the panels. The brackets need to be bent or alot of washers used as spacers must be used to make up the size difference. I will cut and reweld the brackets. More work than i expected before i can even install. Another issue was the way panels were packaged. Panels facing down in the box with tissue paper between panel and cardboard. Im surprised the panels did not crack being basically the bottom of the package during shipping. Surprising due to the large gash out of the corner of the box the panels were shipped in. Other than the extra work of re-sizing the brackets so there is a good fit to panels, these look to be decent solar powered fans for the price. ***edit*** Great customer service After posting this review, the seller reached out to me to ask if anything can be done to correct the issue. Fortunately i have the tools and skills to have made the supplied bracket smaller so it didnt flex when attaching the panel to it. Looks much neater than original bracket. The seller also assured me that the brackets have been made to fit better but there are still products in the Amazon warehouse with the bigger sized brackets in them and once they are sold, the newer brackets will come with the order. I have also installed the fans i ordered and they work great. Good air flow and even spun during a rainstorm. Not very fast but they are true solar panels and can run even in subpar sunlight.

I installed this fan on my 8x8 chicken coop, it instantly lowered the coop temperature and kept the air moving. I'm in Florida and it's important to keep the coop as cool as possible. Straight out of the box, it runs...and it's easy to install. One downfall is that it stops when there's cloud cover or no direct sun...but I knew that going into it, as it doesn't have a battery to store energy. My fan worked great for almost six months, then it just quit. The connections are secure and the solar panel is clean. I'm waiting to see if SoulVolve honors their 3-year warranty. If they do, I'll update my review and raise my rating to 5 stars. It really is a good fan...as long as you can get more than six months out of it. UPDATE 3.9.2023: SoulVolve responded to the warranty issue right away. They sent a replacement fan without delay...easy peasy. This company is one of the easiest to work with...they were receptive and honored the warranty. Also, they said they were working on developing a solar-powered fan with an internal battery later this year...to help the fan work in cloudy weather or after the sun goes down. I'll order one as soon as it hits the market. I'm a customer for life...they have a great product and are responsive to their customers, what more could one ask for?

This only works when the sun is out. So if it is cloudy or overcast at all, it is useless. It works well with direct sunlight light. I just wish it had an internal battery like all my other solar products have.

Bought this for my chicken coop as it is a metal shed and so hot. It was easy to install by simply cutting a circular hole in the wall. It cools it down with wind flow about 5 to 10 degrees. A must have for every coop. Good stuff.

The fan was very easy to install and worked great for a month but then just stopped working for no reason, checked all connections and everything still looks good. NOT A HAPPY BUYER RIGHT NOW. Need to get intouch with the sellers as Amazon will not take it back after 30 days.......:( It's now the middle of October and still no response from seller, I would not purchase this Item as there is no customer service if you have issues.

I use this Soulvolve solar panel exhaust fan to vent a small storage room for pesticides and herbicides as required by the NC Dept. of Agriculture. The switch is left on. This fan automatically comes on with the sun rise and turns off at night. It was easy to install in about one and a half hours. It removes the air at an excellent rate.

I installed these in my shed a year ago. They are very nice little units. All the parts are there for a flexible install. Very easy and clean. Unfortunately they don't provide quite enough air movement to keep the shed cool, but they help a bit. One of them stopped working. The fan which has a 3 year warranty won't run any more and I'd like to get it exchanged. Where is the number to call? Who do I contact? The website is down. Help! **EDIT** I did find the email address: [email protected] and they responded lickety-split! Said they are sending me out a new fan right away. I'll update this review when I get it. I'm very hopeful. The communication was very friendly and prompt!
