I have had these installed for over 8 months spanning temps from -5 to 85 degrees. Zero issues with compatibility, charging, durability, or mounting, and so far still keeping my Arlo Pro 4 & 5 cameras fully charged. The Arlo Pro 4/5 cameras shut down when it's too cold anyhow. I am about to buy another set because I'm tired of changing the batteries on the cameras without the solar charging.

I bought the Arlo Pro 5S camera with spotlight, and it's a great, motion activated, light for my front steps and walkway, in addition to being a security camera. However, with the cold, I found that the battery only lasted a few weeks, and it was a huge pain to get the ladder, every time I needed to charge it. I looked for a solar panel with decent reviews, and at a reasonable price, and this one seemed like a good one to try. The battery had been at 0% for weeks, and I wasn't sure if it would recover from just the solar panel. Sure enough, around 1 PM, I received a notification from the camera of what mode it was in. The battery was at 36%. It is around %40 at 1:45, meaning it gets enough charge in just a few hours to last a few weeks. The camera correctly recognized the solar panel, and displayed a blue sun icon, indicating power from the solar panel.

Got the 3 panel set together and two of them continue to work at 4 months. However, one panel just stopped working after 3 months. I had to wire the camera to a plug for now. I've tried to contact the seller/manufacturer and I can't find anywhere to do so regarding their defective product and the warranty. I want it replaced. Installation was ok and again the other two panels seem to be ok. I'll update my review if I get some sort of resolution from amazon or manufacturer.

Very easy to connect to the camera, just holds magnetically. Long cable, with plenty of wire - maybe even too long, but it's easy enough to tie together. Just three screws to hold the mounts, which are well-made. I always just use drywall screws rather than the flimsy little screws they include for free. I actually tried using one but it broke in two and then the second one didn't go in, so I switched to the good old drywall screws which always work well. The mounts are solid and work just like the Arlo mounts, so pretty easy to use and flexible. Biggest downside so far is that the cable is WHITE, which makes it hard to hide. I'd prefer if it was available in black and I actually took a marker and painted mine as black as I could. The white cable really stands out where I used them, so it was so obvious that it was annoying. They include a ton of black little zip ties, which are great but I didn't need more than a few. They actually send you black zip ties, so not sure why they didn't think about the actual cable's color? I just put the solar panels up so I'm not sure yet if they actually work, so I'll update this review later once I see if they actually do their job and charge the cameras. UPDATE: These work extremely well! I've actually just purchased a few more of them for the rest of my Arlo cameras. I still HATE the white cables, but the solar part works very well and keeps my cameras at 100 percent all the time. Love that! Glad I bought these and I'd highly recommend them. Manufacturer: please make them in BLACK.

From a battery percentage in the low teens to 100% in less than 24 hours. Really surprised me the charging was that good. Build quality is good. These are cheaper than the name brand. Easy to hook them up to the camera, the cable is really longer than it probably needs to be... We're really happy with this purchase. We average close to 800 recordings in 24 hours, at the end of the day the battery is at 93 to 98% I previously had another camera system sold on Amazon that has a solar panel built into the camera... You had to start out with a 100% charge in order for the panel to keep up. This is a far better system and the fast charging is great.
